For someone who’s a massive Chocolate addict, Easter is very tricky as I have to stop myself from buying, and eating, all of the delicious creations that get released. Unfortunately though, when I saw that Lindt had added a range of high Cocoa Milk Chocolate Bars to their ever growing Excellence range whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I just couldn’t stop myself from picking them up. Well i’ve been munching my way through them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lindt say about all four delicious Chocolate Bars.

The Lindt Excellence Milk 45% Cocoa Bar.

The Lindt Excellence Milk 45% Cocoa Bar.

It’s taste.

I really liked it’s taste, as even though it contained Cocoa Mass, Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Cream powder, Whole Milk Powder, and Soya Lecithin, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly bitter Milk Chocolate taste to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had dunked a piece of really high end Milk Chocolate in a massive Glass of Whole Milk.

It’s texture.

I really liked it’s texture, as even though it was called a Chocolate Bar, I thought that it felt really rich and buttery yet ever so slightly crunchy, and was more like a really rich and buttery yet ever so slightly crunchy block of Cocoa Butter rather than a hard and crispy yet ever so slightly creamy Chocolate Bar.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging ,as this came wrapped in a piece of Tin Foil inside a really thick Cardboard Sleeve that as well as stopping it from melting, also kept it really fresh until I was ready to eat it.

The Lindt Excellence Milk 55% Cocoa Bar.

It’s taste.

I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Cocoa Mass, Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Cream Powder, and Soya Lecithin, I thought that it had a delicious deep and creamy yet ever so slightly sweet Milk Chocolate taste to it that kind of reminded me of a Bar of really high end Milk Chocolate.

It’s texture.

I really liked it’s texture, as even though it was called a Chocolate Bar, I thought that it felt really rich and buttery yet ever so slightly crunchy, and was more like a really rich and buttery yet ever so slightly crunchy block of Cocoa Butter rather than a hard and crispy yet ever so slightly creamy Chocolate Bar.

I really liked it’s texture, as even though it was called a Chocolate Bar, I thought that it felt really rich and buttery yet ever so slightly crunchy, and was more like a rich and buttery yet ever so slightly crunchy block of Cocoa Butter rather than a hard and crispy yet ever so slightly creamy Chocolate Bar.

The Lindt Excellence Milk Sea Salt & Caramel Bar.

It’s taste.

I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Caramel Pieces, Anhydrous Milk Fat, Skimmed Milk Powder, Rapeseed Lecithin, Cocoa Mass, Anhydrous Milk Fat, Skimmed Milk Powder, Barley Malt Extract, Sea Salt, and Soya Lecithin, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and salty yet ever so slightly creamy Caramel Chocolate taste to it that kind of reminded me of a Bar of really sweet and salty Chocolate covered Solid Caramel.

It’s texture.

I really liked it’s texture, as even though it was called a Chocolate Bar, I thought that it felt really soft and smooth yet ever so slightly chewy, and was more like a really soft and smooth yet ever so slightly chewy block of Cocoa Butter with little pieces of Solid Caramel and Salt running all the way through it rather than a hard and crispy yet ever so slightly creamy Chocolate Bar.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging ,as this came wrapped in a piece of Tin Foil inside a really thick Cardboard Sleeve that as well as stopping it from melting, also meant that it stayed really fresh until I was ready to eat it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lindt Excellence Milk 45% Cocoa Bar an eight out of ten, the Lindt Excellence Milk 55% Cocoa Bar an eight point five out of ten, the Lindt Excellence Milk 65% Cocoa Bar an eight out of ten, and the Lindt Excellence Milk Sea Salt & Caramel Bar a nine out of ten. I really liked the Lindt Excellence Milk 45% Cocoa Bar, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly bitter Milk Chocolate taste, it’s texture, and it’s packaging, but it just tasted far too sweet and creamy for me to totally love it. I really liked the Lindt Excellence Milk 55% Cocoa Bar, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and creamy yet ever so slightly sweet Milk Chocolate taste, it’s texture, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was a little bit easier to get hold of. I really liked the Lindt Excellence Milk 65% Cocoa Bar, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and smokey yet ever so slightly creamy Dark Chocolate taste, it’s texture, and it’s packaging, but it just tasted far too deep and smokey for me to totally love it. I really liked the Lindt Excellence Milk Sea Salt & Caramel Bar, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and salty yet ever so slightly creamy Caramel Chocolate taste, it’s texture, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was a little bit easier to get hold of.
