After reading Skincare : The Ultimate No Nonsense Guide by Caroline Hirons, I noticed that I was missing a few things from my Skincare Routine including a Gel or Milk Cleanser that’s designed for Normal to Combination Skin. That’s why when I saw that Garnier had released a Naturals Aloe Extract For Normal Skin range that claims to hydrate your Skin as well as also removing impurities whilst I was scrolling through Boots’ Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to check it out. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Bottle of the Naturals Aloe Extract Gel Wash For Normal Skin, a Bottle of the Naturals Aloe Extract Cleansing Milk For Normal Skin, a Bottle of the Naturals Aloe Extract Toner For Normal Skin, and a Tub of the Naturals Aloe Extract 3-In-1 Hydrating Aloe Water Jelly For Normal Skin, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Garnier say about all four amazing products.

It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Coco-Glucoside, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice Powder, Grape Fruit Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Citric Acid, Pentylene Glycol, Salicylic Acid, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and watery yet ever so slightly fruity Aloe Vera scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a Bottle of Aloe Vera Juice.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Gel Wash, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Serum rather than a thin and runny yet ever so slightly gelatinous Gel Wash.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Serum into a thin and frothy Facial Wash that spread really easily across my Face.
It’s results.
I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely clear, glowing and radiant for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall flat cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a Pump Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Isopropyl Palmitate, Glycerin, Propanediol, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice Powder, Grape Fruit Water, Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Phytate, Alcohol, Caprylyl Glycol, Acrylates / C10-30 Alkyl, Acrylate Crosspolymer, Salicylic Acid, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and watery yet ever so slightly fruity Aloe Vera scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a Bottle of Aloe Vera Juice.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Cleansing Milk, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Lotion rather than a thin and milky yet ever so slightly watery Cleansing Milk.
What it did when I used it.

It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely clear, glowing and radiant for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall flat cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves. I did however think that it would have been better if it had come with a Pump Lid though, as it would have made it a little bit easier to use.

It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Alcohol Denat. Glycerin, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice Powder, Grape Fruit Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Phytate, Caprylyl / Capryl Glucoside, Salicylic Acid, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and watery yet ever so slightly fruity Aloe Vera scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a Bottle of Aloe Vera Juice.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Toner, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Micellar Water rather than a thin and watery Toner.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had poured some on to a Cotton Wool Round and had started to swipe it across my Face, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Micellar Water into a thin and watery Toner that set within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s results, as even though it left my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth and intensely hydrated, I noticed that it tended to totally dry out my Skin if I used it for too many days in a row.
It’s packaging.

It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Water Jelly, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly creamy Gel Cream Moisturiser rather than a thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Water Jelly.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Gel Cream Moisturiser into a thin and creamy Day Cream that instantly sank into my Skin.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing and radiant for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short wide cylindrical Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Garnier Naturals Aloe Extract Gel Wash For Normal Skin an eight out of ten, the Garnier Naturals Aloe Extract Cleansing Milk For Normal Skin a nine out of ten, the Garnier Naturals Aloe Extract Toner For Normal Skin a seven out of ten, and the Garnier Naturals Aloe Extract 3-In1 Hydrating Aloe Water Jelly For Normal Skin an eight point five out of ten. I really liked the Garnier Naturals Aloe Extract Gel Wash For Normal Skin, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and watery yet ever so slightly fruity Aloe Vera scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had been a little bit more moisturising.
