Even though I don’t really use Skincare that’s specifically been designed for Men any more, there’s still a couple of Brands that i’ll always use, including L’Oreal Paris Men Expert, as it was one of the first Brands that I used when I first started properly using Skincare. That’s why when I saw that they had released a Power Age Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum that claims to leave you with silky soft, hydrated and younger-looking Skin whilst I was scrolling through Boots’ Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Its scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Bifida Ferment Lysate, Glycerin, Alcohol Denat, Dimethicone, Hydroxyethylpiperazine Ethene Sulfonic Acid, Peppermint Extract, Adenosine, Yeast Extract, Hydroxyacetophenone, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hydroxide, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Tocopherol, Octyldodecanol, Acetic Acid, Ammonium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate, Caprylyl Glycol, Lactic Acid, PEG-20 Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Pentylene Glycol, Xanthan Gum, Citral, Citronellol, Coumarin, Limonene, Linalool, Sodium Benzoate, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly oceanic Peppermint scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you spray some very expensive Peppermint Men’s Deodorant.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Hydrating Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Micellar Water rather than a thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Hydrating Serum.
What it did when i used it.
I really liked what this did when i used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Micellar Water into a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Cleansing Gel that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, matte, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear, a little bit younger and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it managed to ever so slightly minimise some of the Fine Lines and Wrinkles that are around my Eyes and Forehead, and that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short rounded cylindrical Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the L’Oreal Paris Men Expert Power Age Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly oceanic Peppermint scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was available in a much bigger Bottle, as 30ml of a Facial Serum doesn’t last that long, especially if you’re using it Morning and Evening like you’re supposed to do.
