I don’t know why, but my Hair seems to have become incredibly dry, dull and brittle lately, which means that i’ve been on the lookout for anything that will return it to it’s silky soft, hydrated and glowing-looking former self. That’s why when I saw that Garnier had released an Ultimate Blends Hair Drink Nourishing Banana Liquid Conditioner that claims to leave you with silky soft, nourished and glowing-looking Hair whilst I was scrolling through Superdrug’s Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

How to use.

After using our Banana Hair Food Shampoo, squeeze out excess Water from your Hair and apply Hair Drink to lengths. For Fine Hair apply one dose, for medium to thick Hair two to three doses, and for long Hair three to four doses. Massage into lengths for 10 seconds and rinse.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Propylene Glycol, Alcohol Denat, Cetyl Alcohol, Fragrance, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Banana Water, Coconut Oil, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Decaprylyl Ether, Water, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Lactic Acid, Tocopherol, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Coumarin, and Benzyl Alcohol, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Banana scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you take an over-ripened Banana out of a Fruit Bowl.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Conditioner, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Oil rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Conditioner.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Hair, it turned from an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Oil into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly creamy Conditioner that spread really easily through my Hair.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hair feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking a lot shinier, extremely volumised, much healthier and smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Banana for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a tall rectangular Plastic Bottle with a nozzle applicator and a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, it’s screw top Lid was so small that no matter what I did I either managed to drop it or lose it after I had unscrewed it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Garnier Ultimate Blends Hair Drink Nourishing Banana Liquid Conditioner a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Banana scent, it’s consistency, what it did when i used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it’s screw top Lid had either been a little bit bigger so I hadn’t lost it or dropped it every time that I had unscrewed it, or that it had somehow been attached to it’s Nozzle applicator.
