Even though I don’t generally use Skincare that’s been specifically designed for Men anymore, I do like to use it whenever my Skin is having one of it’s many tantrums as it usually does a fantastic job at sorting whatever is going on with it out. That’s why when the guys over at Gentleman’s Scrub Club very kindly asked me if I would like to try one of their Three Of A Kind Skincare Sets that contains a Bottle of their Energising Face Wash, a Tub of their Exfoliating Face Scrub, and a Tub of their Original Face Moisturiser, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Caprylyl/Capryl glucoside, Cocamidopropyl betaine, Glycerin, Xanthan gum, Phenoxyethanol, Citric acid, Blackcurrant seed oil, Polysorbate 20, Strawberry fruit extract, Peppermint essential oil, Lemon peel essential oil, Aloe vera leaf juice powder, Sodium benzoate, Potassium sorbate, Lime peel essential oil, and Limonene, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly medicinal Peppermint and Blackcurrant scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you eat a Blackcurrant Cough Sweet.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Face Wash, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Serum rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Face Wash,

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Serum into a thin and frothy yet ever so slightly creamy Face Wash that spread really easily across my Face.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, matte, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging..

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Apricot kernel oil, Cetearyl alcohol, Polysorbate 60, Sunflower seed oil, Coconut oil, Pumice, Glycerin, Avocado butter, Hydrogenated vegetable oil, Shea butter, Tocopherol, Mango seed butter, Avocado oil, Water, Potassium oleate, Potassium cocoate, Glycerin, Potassium citrate, Citric Acid, Shea butter, Phenoxyethanol and Ethylhexylglycerin, Stearic acid, Xanthan gum, Oat Silk meal extract, Papaya fruit extract, and Cranberry seeds, I thought that it had a very strange deep and nutty yet ever so slightly musky Sunflower Oil scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bottle of Sunflower Oil.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Face Scrub, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy Body Butter with little pieces of grit in it rather than a thin and gritty yet ever so slightly watery Face Scrub.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy Body Butter with little pieces of grit in it into a thin and gritty yet ever so slightly creamy Microdermabrasion Facial Scrub that managed to get into all of the nooks and crannies of my Face.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky smooth, soft, matte, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Apricot kernel oil, Cetearyl alcohol & Polysorbate 60, Sunflower seed oil, Glycerin, (, Olive oil, Coconut oil, Shea Butter, Phenoxyethanol and Ethylhexylglycerin, Stearic acid, Zinc oxide, Oat Silk meal extract, Allantoin, Tocopherol, Hyaluronic Acid, Xanthan gum, Blackcurrant seed oil, Lime peel essential oil, Jojoba seed oil, and Rosehip fruit oil, I thought that it had a very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly zesty Lime scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured some freshly squeezed Lime Juice over a massive piece of Cardboard..

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Face Moisturiser, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Cream rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Face Moisturiser.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Facial Moisturiser that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, matte, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Gentleman’s Scrub Club Energising Face Wash a nine out of ten, the Gentleman’s Scrub Club Exfoliating Face Scrub an eight point five out of ten, and the Gentleman’s Scrub Club Original Face Moisturiser an eight point five out of ten. I really liked the Gentleman’s Scrub Club Energising Face Wash, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly medicinal Peppermint & Blackcurrant scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had left my Skin feeling a little bit more moisturised. I really liked the Gentleman’s Scrub Club Exfoliating Face Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and nutty yet ever so slightly musky Sunflower Oil scent. I really liked the Gentleman’s Scrub Club Original Face Moisturiser, as I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly zesty Lime scent.
