My Skin Is Glowing Brighter Than A Superstar | Glow Hub Purify & Brighten Super Serum

With my Skin being very Blemish prone at the moment, i’ve been looking for some kind of lightweight Facial Serum that I can slot into my Skincare Routine that claims to help with my Blemishes whilst also making it look and feel like it’s silky soft, glowing and clearer-looking former self. That’s why when I saw that Beauty Bay had released a The Breakout Box that contained a Bottle of the Glow Hub Purify & Brighten Super Serum that claims to leave you with balanced, brighter and clear-looking Skin whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A tall cylindrical white glass bottle with a white rubber pipette lid and a pale lilac label that has Glow Hub Purify & Brighten Super Serum written in bold white writing on it, on a white background.

Here’s what Glow Hub say about their Purify & Brighten Super Serum.

A Skin brightening and detoxifying Serum for Breakout prone Skin.
Is your Skin unbalanced, oily or about to breakout? Ultra lightweight and Skin brightening, this super Serum works to balance and clarify, tackling impurities.
Enriched with Black Tea Extract to detoxify and balanced with Antioxidant rich Blueberry to help calm and brighten the complexion.
Plus the addition of Salicylic Acid and White Willow Bark makes it the perfect pick me up to gently exfoliate, helping to declog Pores and lessen the appearance of Breakouts.

How to use.

Apply three to four drops to clean Skin after cleansing but before moisturiser. Use morning and evening for those Breakout prone moments.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Black Tea Ferment, Willow Bark Extract, Salicylic Acid, Blueberry Fruit Extract, Polysorbate 20, Benzyl Alcohol, Citric Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Gluconate, Butylene Glycol, Fragrance, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Sorbic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Citrate, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Biotin, Citral, Hexyl Cinnamal, and Limonene, I thought that it had a very strange light and fruity yet ever so slightly chemical Blueberry scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you wash out the packaging from a Punnet of Blueberries to put in the recycling Bin.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Facial Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Micellar Water rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Serum.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Micellar Water into a thin and lightweight yet ever so slightly watery Facial Serum that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, matte, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear, a little bit brighter and much healthier for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Glow Hub Purify & Brighten Super Serum an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange light and fruity yet ever so slightly chemical Blueberry scent.
