A Moment On The Lips, A Lifetime Of Hydration | Lanolips Lemonade Lip Treatment

I don’t know if it’s because of all of the intermittent Weather that we’ve been having lately, but my Lips have become incredibly dry, rough and sore, which means that i’ve been on the lookout for anything that will return them to their silky soft, smooth and hydrated feeling former self. That’s why when I saw that Lanolips had released a Lemonade Lip Treatment that claims to use both Lanolin and Lemon Oil to leave you with silky soft, smooth and hydrated Lips whilst I was scrolling through Instagram a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A short and thin conical bright white plastic Tube with a bright white Plastic Lid that has Lanolips written in dark blue writing, Lemonade Lip Treatment written in bold black writing, a picture of a bright yellow slice of Lemon, and a picture of a bright yellow stripe on it, on a white background.

Here’s what Lanolipss say about their Lemonade Lip Treatment.

Relief for dry, rough Lips.
A rich & creamy whipped Lanolin Lip Treatment with Lemon Oil to naturally exfoliate, leaving Lips fresh, soft & moist.
Mega-rich & refreshing, but with a hint of Shimmer – to make it the perfect glistening all-day-everyday Lip Treatment.

  • Natural..
  • Cruelty free.
  • Clean ingredients.

How to use.

Apply to Lips as needed.

It’s taste.

I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Lanolin, Sweet Almond Oil, Shea Butter, Fragrance, Limonene, Lemon Peel Oil, Tocopherol, Beeswax, Lime Oil, Citral, Linalool, Geraniol, Citronellol, CI 77891, CI 77499, and CI 77491, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of eating a massive Slice of Lemon Meringue Pie on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Lip Treatment, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and buttery yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thick and buttery yet ever so slightly oily Lip Butter rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly waxy Lip Treatment.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had squeezed a little bit of it out of it’s Tube and had started to swipe it across my Lips, it turned from an incredibly thick and buttery yet ever so slightly oily Lip Butter into a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Lip Mask that spread really easily across my Lips.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Lips feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left them looking much healthier and tasting of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemon for at least an hour after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a short conical Plastic Tube with a screw top Lid that fitted really easily into my Pocket, I would have preferred it if it had come in some kind of a twist up Tube or Metal Tin so that I could control exactly how much of it I was using.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lanolips Lemonade Lip Treatment a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemon scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come in some kind of a twist up Tube or Metal Tin so that I could control exactly how much of it I was using.
