I’ve been absolutely loving all of Lush’s Christmas range this year, as even though it’s been a much smaller range than usual thanks to Covid19, I think that they’ve still managed to release some really cool and delicious smelling products. That’s why when I went to Lush White Rose a couple of weeks ago to check out all of their Christmas 2020 range, the last place that I obviously had to stop by was their Soap, Fragrance and Lip Care Departments to check out all of their delicious smelling Christmas Soaps, Perfumes and Lip Scrubs. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Block of the Baked Alaska Soap, a Jar of the Candy Cane Lip Scrub, a Bottle of the Frangipani Perfume, a Bottle of the Fresh As Perfume, a block of the Polar Bear Soap, and a Block of the Snowcake Soap, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all six delicious smelling products.

The Baked Alaska Soap.

This Plastic Free Christmas Soap has a Popping Candy Crust, a Soy Milk centre and a zesty Grapefruit scent that brightens your Skin and Mind.

How to use.

Lather up this moisturising Rapeseed and Coconut based Soap, wash and rinse for refreshed, smoothed Skin.

How to store.

Keep in a cool, dry place until you’re ready to use. Between uses pop on to a Soap Dish to dry.

The Candy Cane Lip Scrub.

This ultimate Christmas Lip Scrub has sparkly Sugar Crystals and Peppermint Oil to stimulate your Lips. It is a perfect Stocking Filler.

How to use.

Scoop out a little on to your Finger and buff your Lips before licking off the excess.

The Frangipani Perfume.

A Vegan Perfume with a blend of sweet Frangipani, Sandalwood and Almond Oils lean into florals before a morish, smokey Guaiacwood finish.
This noble blend of sweet Frangipani will revive and fuel creative tendencies. Inspired by a widely sweet and spicy Fragrance for perfuming Gloves, originally created by the Mythical Roman Noble Marquis of Frangipani.

The Fresh As Perfume.

Welcome to the wilderness! With bracing Fur Needle Absolute and hints of Balsamic Benzoin Resinoid, you’ll soon be feeling fresh as!
Revitalising Fur and Tagetes Oils mingle in each vivid spritz to surround you with the bracing draw of Nature. If any scent can embody the freshest of Forests, snapping Twigs underfoot, and the warmth of a snuggly Scarf, then this is it.

The Polar Bear Soap.

This Christmas Soap is packed full of Coconut goodness with a hint of Mint. Sit on the edge of the Sink and even little Paws will want to keep clean.

How to use.

Lather up this Coconut based Soap with softening Coconut Water, wash thoroughly before rinsing.

How to store.

Keep cool and dry before this Bear is ready to take it’s place on the Sink or the edge of the Bath.

The Snowcake Soap.

Perfect for Winter Hands, this fantastic moisturising Christmas Soap will leave Skin soft, smooth and subtilely scented with Almonds.

How to use.

Made from our in house Olive Oil soap Base, lather, wash and rinse for the lingering scent of Christmas.

How to store.

Store somewhere cool and dry before use. Then keep in easy reach of the Bath or Sink.

The Lush Baked Alaska Soap.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Rapeseed Oil : Coconut Oil, Glycerine, Propylene Glycol, Soy Milk, Popping Candy, Fragrance, Lemon Myrtle Oil, Ylang Ylang Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Gardenia Extract, Sodium Chloride, EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Sodium Hydroxide, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionon, Citral, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 45350, Colour 14700, Colour 42090, Colour 17200, and Colour 45410:1, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you zest a freshly picked Lemon.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to create a really thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy lather that spread really easily across my Hands.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, squeaky clean, smooth, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Lemon for at least ten minutes after I had used it.

The Lush Candy Cane Lip Scrub.

It’s taste.

I really liked it’s taste, as even though it contained Castor Sugar, Organic Jojoba Seed Oil, Fair Trade Shea Butter, Titanium Dioxide, Peppermint Oil, Extra Fine Sea Salt, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Limonene, and Flavour, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly creamy Peppermint taste to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Peppermint Candy Canes.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had scooped a little bit of it  out of it’s Jar and had started to rub it against my Skin, it released lots of little shards of oily Castor Sugar and Extra Fine Sea Salt all over my Lips that eventually dissolved into a thin and buttery Lip Balm that set within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Lips feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely moisturised, but it also left them tasting of delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly creamy Peppermint for at least ten minutes after I had used it.

The Lush Frangipani Perfume.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Organic DRF Alcohol, Fragrance, Water, Glycerine, Benzyl Alcohol, Limonene, Benzyl Benzoate, Guaiacwood Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Almond Essential Oil, Frangipani Absolute, Tuberose Absolute, Benzyl Salicylate, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Citral, Citronellol, Coumarin, Eugenol, Farnesol, Geraniol, and Linalool, I thought that it had a very sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly woody Almond scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had wrapped a massive Bouquet of Flowers in an entire Block of Marzipan.

It’s longevity.

I really liked how long this lasted on my Skin, as I sprayed a little bit of it on to my Wrists and Neck when I was getting ready at about eight o’clock in the morning, and I could still faintly smell it on my Skin when I had Dinner at about five o’clock in the evening.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a really thick short rectangular Glass Perfume Bottle with a Black Plastic Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Fresh As Perfume.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Organic DRF Alcohol, Fragrance, Linalool, Siberian Fur Needle Oil, Water, Glycerine, Benzoin Resinoid, Orris Oil, Fur Needle Absolute, Tagetes Oil, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Cinnamate, Cinnamal, Citral,, Citronellol, Geraniol, Isoeugenol, and Limonene, I thought that it had a very fresh and grassy yet ever so slightly floral Pine scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk into a Forest full of Pine Trees on a freezing cold Winter’s Day.

It’s longevity.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil,Glycerine, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Hydroxide, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Coconut Milk Powder, Organic Coconut Water, Organic Castor Oil, Fragrance, Brazilian Orange Oil, Benzoin Resinoid, Peppermint Oil, Citric Acid, Sodium Bicarbonate, Citral, Isoeugenol, and Limonene, I thought that it had a very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly minty Coconut and Peppermint scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Peppermint Candy Canes into a Can of Coconut Milk.

What it did when I used it.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Oat Milk, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Glycerine, Propylene Glycol, Water, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance, Organic Castor Oil, Soy Yoghurt, Kaolin, Sodium Stearate, Benzoin Resinoid, Rose Absolute, Almond Essential Oil, Cassie Absolute, Citric Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Bicarbonate, Benzyl Benzoate, Cinnanal, Coumarin, and Colour 42090, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly nutty Marzipan scent to it that kind of reminded me of a massive Block of Marzipan Icing.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, squeaky clean, smooth, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly nutty Marzipan for at least fifteen minutes after I had used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Baked Alaska Soap a nine out of ten, the Lush Candy Cane Lip Scrub an eight out of ten, the Lush Frangipani Perfume a six out of ten, the Lush Fresh As Perfume a five point five out of ten, the Lush Polar Bear Soap a five point five out of ten, and the Lush Snowcake Soap a nine point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Baked Alaska Soap, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Lemon scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s Popping Candy crust as I thought that it made it look like it was coated in a layer of Dandruff. I really liked the Lush Candy Cane Lip Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and minty yet ever so slightly creamy Peppermint taste, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but as i’m not usually a massive fan of anything that tastes of Mint it wasn’t something that I could use every day. I really liked the Lush Frangipani Perfume, as I absolutely loved how long it lasted on my Skin, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly woody Almond scent. I really liked the Lush Fresh As Perfume, as I absolutely loved how long it lasted on my Skin, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very fresh and grassy yet ever so slightly floral Pine scent. I really liked the Lush Polar Bear Soap, as I absolutely loved what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly minty Coconut and Peppermint scent. I did however notice that because it contained three different types of Coconut, that it got used up fairly quickly though. I really liked the Lush Snowcake Soap, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly nutty Marzipan scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I did however notice that because it contained both Oat Milk and Soy Yoghurt, that it got used up fairly quickly though.
