Even though I love to relax in a nice, hot Bath at the end of a long day, I also really like to start my day off with a roaring hot Shower, especially during Winter when it’s absolutely freezing when I get out of Bed. That’s why when I went to Lush White Rose a couple of weeks ago to check out all of their Christmas 2021 range, I obviously had to stop by their Shower & Body Care Department to check out all of their delicious smelling Christmas Body Scrubs, Shower Gels, and Shower Jellies. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Block of the Golden Pear Body Scrub, a Bottle of the Jolly Shower Gel, a Bottle of the Plum Duff Shower Gel, and a Tub of the Snow Cake Jelly Stack, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all four delicious smelling products.

The Golden Pear Body Scrub.

Time to Scrub up. Pop into the Shower and let the Sea Salt and Prickly Pear Oil do the hard work, leaving you with softer Skin. Listen out for crackle-ingly good Shower ASMR with this natural exfoliator!

How to use.

Wet your Bar, rub between your Hands and scrub using as much pressure as you like. Cut in two before you use or use the whole Bar for an indulgent Pear-scented treat.

How to store.

Keep somewhere cool and dry until ready to use. This is enough for two full Body Scrubs so pop in a Soap Dish between uses.

The Jolly Shower Gel.

Have a holly, jolly, hot Shower with Cinnamon, Cloves and a dash of cheerful Orange Juice. It’s full of warming ingredients to deliver the cosiest Shower this Christmas.

How to use.

Lather and rinse off then enjoy the long-lasting fragrance of Orange and Spice.

The Plum Duff Shower Gel.

Plumped up Raisins and Tangerine Oil make this the King of sweet, zesty Showers. Lather up and get ready for a hydrating Christmas Wash with a fruity, earthy scent.

How to use.

Pour out and lather all over your Body before rinsing off. Second helpings are optional.

The Snow Cake Jelly Stack.

When you are feeling wobbly reach for one of these three Shower Jelly Discs layered in one Pot of joy. Pick from Marzipan, Toffee or Cherry to your Skin’s desire.

How to use.

Wibble one of the Jelly Discs over your Body and Hair for a skin-softening wash. You can use it at room temperature, cool it in the Fridge or even in the Freezer for the ultimate invigorating Shower.

The Lush Golden Pear Body Scrub.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Fine Sea Salt, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Sodium Bicarbonate, Popping Candy, Cupuaçu Butter, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cream Of Tartar, Pear Powder, Organic Jojoba Oil, Coarse Sea Salt, Cardamom Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Prickly Pear Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Lauryl Betaine, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Silica, Calcium Sodium Borasilicate, Coumarin, Limonene, Fragrance, Colour 77492, and Colour 77491, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Pear scent to it that kind of reminded me of a Spiced Pear Pudding fresh out of the Oven.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it started to release lots of incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily pieces of Coarse Sea Salt and Fine Sea Salt all over my Body that blended together to give my Skin a really deep and fine yet ever so slightly moisturising Scrub. I also really liked that as I was rinsing it off, that it also released little pieces of Popping Candy all over my Body that made it sound like someone was actually biting into a Pear in my Shower.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, plump, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Pear for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Jolly Shower Gel.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Cinnamon Stick and Orange Infusion, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Glycerine, Water, Lauryl Betaine, Clove Bud Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil, Tangerine Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Lactic Acid, Cinnamal, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Citral, Coumarin, Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, and Colour 15510, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly zesty Orange and Clove scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you stick some Cloves into an Orange to make a Pomander Ball at Christmas.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Gel Face Wash rather than a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Gel Face Wash into a thick and frothy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly zesty Orange and Clove for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Plum Duff Shower Gel.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Glycerine, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Raisin Infusion, Fragrance, Lactic Acid, Cedarwood Oil, Tangerine Oil, Benzoin Resinoid, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 17200, and Colour 42090, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly zesty Blackcurrant scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Bag of Purple Jelly Babies into a massive Glass of Blackcurrant Juice.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Cream Face Wash rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Cream Face Wash into a thick and frothy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

The Lush Snow Cake Jelly Stack.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Maple Syrup Water, Almond Milk, Cherry Infusion, Carrageenan Extract, Fragrance, Lime Oil, Almond Essential Oil, Davana Oil, Rose Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Calamine Powder, Titanium Dioxide, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Silica, Citral, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 77067, and Colour 77491, I thought that the Cherry Disc had a delicious tart and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Cherry scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Cherry Drop Sweets, that the Marzipan Disc had a delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly spicy Marzipan scent to it that kind of reminded me of a massive slice of Panettone, and that the Toffee Disc had a delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly sugary Toffee scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Bag of Toffee Penny Sweets into a Pan of melting Caramel.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Jelly, I thought that it felt really tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy, and was more like a really tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy Ball of Rubber rather than a squishy and slimy yet ever so slightly watery Shower Jelly.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it started to release lots of thin and balmy yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious tart and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Cherry, sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly spicy Marzipan, and sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly sugary Toffee for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Golden Pear Body Scrub a nine out of ten, the Lush Jolly Shower Gel an eight out of ten, the Lush Plum Duff Shower Gel a nine out of ten, and the Lush Snow Cake Shower Jelly Stack an eight out of ten. I really liked the Lush Golden Pear Body Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Pear scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had been a Liquid Body Scrub rather than a Block of Solid Oil and Salt. I really liked the Lush Jolly Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly zesty Orange and Clove scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Orange. I really liked the Lush Plum Duff Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly zesty Blackcurrant scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Snow Cake Jelly Stack, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious tart and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Cherry, sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly spicy Marzipan, and sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly sugary Toffee scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that the Cherry Disc had smelt a little bit more of Cherry and that the Almond Disc had actually smelt of Snow Cake given that it was called a Snow Cake Jelly Stack.
