I Found A Very Happy Elf | Lush Christmas 2021 Range | Body Spray, Cleanser & Lip Scrub

Every year I always look forward to checking out all of the Bath Bombs, Bubble Bars, Shower Gels and Body Care products that Lush has on offer for the Christmas period. But some of the products that I really look forward to checking out definitely has to be the more weird and wonderful products that they release, like their Body Sprays, Facial Cleansers, and Lip Scrubs. That’s why when I went to Lush White Rose a couple of weeks ago to check out all of their Christmas range, I obviously had to stop by their Facial Care, Fragrance and Lip Care Departments to check out all of their delicious smelling Christmas Body Sprays, Cleansers, and Lip Scrubs. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Roll of the Lemon Aid Cleanser, a Bottle of the Jilted Elf Body Spray, and a Jar of the Golden Pineapple Lip Scrub, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all three delicious smelling products.

The Golden Pineapple Lip Scrub.

Warming, fruity Lips are just a Sugar Scrub away with this sweet Pineapple exfoliator. The hint of Ginger will give you an extra kick.

How to use.

Scoop out a little on to your Finger and buff your Lips before licking off the excess.

The Jilted Elf Body Spray.

Revel in this playful blend of sharp Grapefruit to perk you up and spicy Cinnamon to get the Blood pumping. Don’t leave this one behind this Christmas…

How to use.

Spritz all over the Body, avoiding the Under Arm Area, for an instant pick-me-up.

The Lemon Aid Cleanser.

A beautifully creamy, milky Cleanser ready to polish and revive your Skin this Christmas. Allow Carrot and Lemon to aid the prevention of Breakouts whilst Tahini gives this Cleanser it’s moreish creamy texture.

How to use.

Take a piece of Cleanser and a little Water and work into a milky Paste. Massage over your Face and Body singing Festive Tunes to yourself before gently washing away.

How to store.

Store somewhere cool and dry until you’re ready for some zest. A Soap Dish is a great Home for this Lemon Drizzle inspired Cleanser between uses.

It’s taste.

I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Castor Sugar, Organic Jojoba Oil, Fair Trade Shea Butter, Golden Castor Sugar, Flavour, Ginger Absolute, Yellow Mandarin Oil, Lovage Root Oil, Pineapple Powder, Citric Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Calcium Sodium Borasilicate, Benzyl Alcohol, Limonene, and Colour 77491, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Pineapple taste to it that kind of reminded me of a Spiced Pineapple Upside Down Cake fresh out of the Oven.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had scooped a little bit of it out of it’s Jar and had started to rub it against my Skin, it started to release lots of little shards of oily Castor Sugar and Golden Castor Sugar all over my Lips that eventually dissolved into a thin and buttery Lip Balm that set within a matter of seconds. I also really liked that because it contained Ginger Oil, that it created a little bit of a tingling sensation across my Lips as I was rubbing it into my Skin.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Lips feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely moisturised, but it also left them tasting of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Pineapple for at least ten minutes after I had used it.

it’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Jar with a matte Plastic screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained DRF Alcohol, Water, Fragrance, Glycerine, Cinnamon Leaf Oil, Ginger Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Osmanthus Absolute, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Benzoate, Cinnamal, Citral, Coumarin, Eugenol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, and Linalool, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and spicy yet ever so slightly floral and fruity Cinnamon and Grapefruit scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poached a perfectly ripened Grapefruit in a massive Pan of Cinnamon spiced Water.

It’s longevity.

I really liked how long this lasted on my Skin, as I sprayed a little bit of it on to my Wrists, Neck and Clothes when I was getting ready at about eight o’clock in the morning, and I could still strongly smell it on my Skin when I sat down to have my Dinner at about five o’clock in the evening.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a tall Black Plastic Kitchen Spray Bottle that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, they’ve unfortunately recently changed the Spray Mechanism of their Body Spray Bottles so that once you’ve sprayed it it locks and you have to wait a couple of seconds before you can spray it again.

A long thick cylindrical block of golden yellow cleanser that has some pieces of bright yellow lemon zest on top of it, on a white background.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Kaolin, Ground Almonds, Glycerine, Tahini, Fresh Carrot, Fresh Lemon Zest, Water, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Fresh Lemon Peel, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Carrageenan Extract, Propylene Glycol, Limonene, Colour 15985:1, and Colour 19140:1, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of a Lemon Drizzle Cake fresh out of the Oven.

What it did when I used it.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of what this did when I used it, as once I had broken a little piece of it off, had added a little bit of Water to it to turn it into a Paste, and had started to massage it into my Skin, it turned into a mass of incredibly crumbly mush that kind of reminded me of if someone had blended up a massive Slice of Lemon Drizzle Cake. Then once I had eventually managed to get it to stick to my Face, quite a lot of it crumbled off and the little bit that did manage to stay stuck to my Skin turned into an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty Cleanser that spread really easily across my Face.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for at least an hour after I had used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Golden Pineapple Lip Scrub an eight out of ten, the Lush Jilted Elf Body Spray a nine out of ten, and the Lush Lemon Aid Cleanser a seven point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Golden Pineapple Lip Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Pineapple scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had tasted a little bit more of Pineapple. I really liked the Lush Jilted Elf Body Spray, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and spicy yet ever so slightly floral and fruity Cinnamon and Grapefruit scent, it’s longevity, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Grapefruit. I really liked the Lush Lemon Aid Cleanser, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemon scent, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of what it did when I used it.
