Sharing Love, Joy & Kindness This Christmas | The Body Shop Christmas 2021 Range

I absolutely love it whenever The Body Shop releases their Christmas range, as not only do they release some irresistible smelling products, but they also donate a percentage of the profits of their delicious smelling Christmas range to some truly deserving Charities. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their Christmas 2021 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local The Body Shop store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Bottle of the Joy & Jasmine Shower Gel, a Tub of the Kindness & Pears Body Yogurt, and a Bottle of the Love & Plums Shimmer Mist, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Benzyl Salicylate, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Benzyl Alcohol, Linalool, Benzophenone-3, Night Flowering Jasmine Flower Extract, Benzoic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Hydroxide, CI 15985/Yellow 6, and CI 42090/Blue 1, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Jasmine scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poached some Jasmine Flowers in a massive Pan of Orange Blossom Water.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Micellar Water rather than a thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly balmy Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Micellar Water into a thick and frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Jasmine for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Alcohol, Dimethicone, Butylene Glycol, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Carbomer, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Shea Butter, Dimethiconol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Linalool, Pear Fruit Extract, Citronellol, Citric Acid, Coumarin, Benzyl Alcohol, Sweet Almond Seed Extract, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Dehydroacetic Acid, CI 19140/Yellow 5, and CI 42090/Blue 1, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Pear scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent of a freshly picked perfectly ripened Pear.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Yoghurt, I thought that it felt extremely thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an extremely thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Lotion rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Body Yoghurt.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an extremely thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Lotion into an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Body Yogurt that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Pear for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short rounded rectangular Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

A tall cylindrical clear glass bottle full of some dark pink liquid with a silver metallic lid and a white label that has The Body Shop written in bold black writing, Love & Plums Shimmer Mist written in bold dark green writing, and some pictures of some large dark red plums on it, on a white background.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Alcohol Denat, Water, Fragrance, PPG–20 Methyl Glucose Ether, Linalool, Benzophenone-3, Limonene, Mica, Glycerin, Citronellol, Benzyl Benzoate, Geraniol, Benzyl Alcohol, Farnesol, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice Powder, European Plum Fruit Extract, Denatonium Benzoate, CI 77891/Titanium Dioxide, CI 17200/Red 33, and CI 42090/Blue 1, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly sour Plum scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking past a Plum Tree on a balmy Spring Afternoon.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to spray a little bit of it on to my Skin and Clothes, it released an incredibly fine and delicate Mist of extremely fine Glitter that eventually settled down to a very light and unnoticeable sheen that more or less disappeared after about an hour or so of me spraying it.

It’s longevity.

I really liked how long this lasted on my Skin, as I sprayed a little bit of it on to my Wrists, Neck and Clothes when I was getting ready at about eight o’clock in the morning, and I could still faintly smell it on my Skin and Clothes when I sat down to have a Cup of Tea at about three thirty in the afternoon.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Glass Bottle with a metallic Silver Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate The Body Shop Joy & Jasmine Shower Gel a seven out of ten, The Body Shop Kindness & Pears Body Yoghurt a nine out of ten, and The Body Shop Love & Plums Shimmer Mist a nine out of ten. I really liked The Body Shop Joy & Jasmine Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Jasmine scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but as i’m not usually a massive fan of Jasmine it’s scent did kind of start to get on my nerves after a while. I really liked The Body Shop Kindness & Pears Body Yoghurt, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Pear scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Pear and that it was also part of their main range. I really liked The Body Shop Love & Plums Shimmer Mist, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly sour Plum scent, what it did when I used it, it’s longevity, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had lasted a little bit longer on my Skin and that it was also part of their main range.
