When You Close Your Eyes | Lush Cucumber Eye Pads & Rose Eye Pads

With me being Visually Impaired and looking at a Screen all day, i’m constantly dealing with either dry, sore or irritated Eyes. That’s why when I saw that Lush had released some Cucumber Eye Pads and Rose Eye Pads that claim to leave you with silky soft, refreshed and hydrated Eyes whilst I was wandering around Lush Liverpool Spa a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick them up. Well i’ve been using them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about both amazing products.

The Cucumber  Eye Pads.

Cooling, calming Cucumber.

How to use.

Cool and calm your Eyes with Cucumber and Carrageen Seaweed. Simply place over your Eyes then sit back and relax. A perfect accompaniment to our Fresh Face Masks. Job’s done!

How to store.

Store in the Fridge until ready to use. They will stay fresh for three weeks.

The Rose Eye Pads.

Florally scented with cooling Aloe.

How to use.

Soothing Aloe Vera and Carrageen seaweed will ease puffiness and provide a boost of hydration to your delicate Eye area. With Rose Water to help reduce Dark Circles, these Eye Pads are perfect to enjoy with our Fresh Face Masks, helping you to emerge refreshed.

Their scent.

I absolutely loved their scent, as even though they contained Fresh Cucumber Puree, Glycerine, Water, and Carrageenan Extract, I thought that they had a delicious fresh and watery yet ever so slightly musky Cucumber scent to them that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you brew a massive cup of Cucumber Tea.

What they did when I used them.

I really liked what these did when I used them, as once I had removed them from their packaging and had placed them over my Eyes, they very slowly moulded themselves to my Eyes and started to ever so slowly release little droplets of Cucumber Puree and Water all over my Eyes that helped to stick the massive pieces of incredibly thick and rubbery Carrageenan Extract to my Eyes.

Their results.

I absolutely loved their results, as not only did these leave my Eyes feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, refreshed and intensely hydrated, but they also left them looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used them.

Their packaging.

I really liked their packaging, as these came wrapped in a little piece of Biodegradable Plastic that was securely sealed with a Sticky Label which meant that they stayed incredibly fresh until I was ready to use them.

I absolutely loved their scent, as even though they contained Glycerine, Rose Water, Fresh Aloe Gel, Carrageenan Extract, and Alkanet Extracted In Almond Oil, I thought that they had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly sweet Rose scent to them that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you pick a Petal off of a Rose at the end of Spring.

I absolutely loved their results, as not only did these leave my Eyes feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, soothed, refreshed and intensely hydrated, but they also left them looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used them.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Cucumber Eye Pads a nine out of ten, and the Lush Rose Eye Pads a nine point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Cucumber Eye Pads, as I absolutely loved their delicious fresh and watery yet ever so slightly musky Cucumber scent, what they did when I used them, their results, and their packaging, but I just wish that they had smelt a little bit more of Cucumber and that they had also released a little bit more Water when I had used them. I really liked the Lush Rose Eye Pads, as I absolutely loved their delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly sweet Rose scent, what they did when I used them, their results, and their packaging, but I just wish that they had smelt a little bit more of Rose and that they had also released a little bit more Rose Water when I had used them. I also found that as long as you wrap them back up in their packaging, stored them somewhere cool and sprinkled a little bit of Water on them, that you can get at least three to four uses out of them.
