I absolutely love relaxing at the end of a long, hard day with a nice Face Mask, especially with one of the ones from Lush as they always leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth and hydrated. That’s why when I went to Lush Liverpool Spa a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to stop by their Fresh Face Mask Department to check out all of the exclusive Fresh Face Masks that they had on offer. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Date Night Fresh Face Mask, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Lush say about their Date Night Fresh Face Mask.

Get ready for Date Night with this skin-softening Face Mask with a moisturising Golden Linseed Infusion, Coconut Cream and Dried Dates.

How to use.

Take your Top off and get a handful, stroke over your Face, relax for ten minutes then rinse away with warm Water.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Kaolin, Glycerine, Golden Linseed Decoction, Talc, Organic Creamed Coconut, Dried Dates, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Ylang Ylang Oil, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, Eugenol, Farnesol, Geramiol, Isoeugenol, and Linalool, I thought that it had a very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly chemical Ylang Ylang scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent of a freshly washed Men’s Bathroom mixed with a really cheap Ylag Ylang Perfume.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Fresh Face Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Fresh Face Mask.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Fresh Face Mask with little pieces of Dried Dates in it that set within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clearer and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Date Night Fresh Face Mask an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy consistency, what it did when I used it, its results, and its packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly chemical Ylang Ylang scent. I also thought that if you have Oily Skin that it’s probably not going to be for you, as I found it to be very moisturising on my Dry to Combination Skin.
