Let’s Get Dirty. That’s My Jam | Lush Dirty Perfume

Even though i’m not usually a massive fan of fresh, earthy, masculine or woody Fragrances, one of my favourite Fragrances from Lush definitely has to be Dirty, as I just adore it’s delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly herbal Spearmint scent, and have probably tried every Dirty-scented product that they’ve ever released, including the Dirty Bath Bomb, the Dirty Body Scrub, the  Dirty Body Spray, the Dirty Hair & Beard Oil, the Dirty Perfume Bubble Bottle Bubble Bar, the Dirty Shampoo Bar, and the Dirty Soap. That’s why when I saw that they had released a Dirty Perfume whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Lush say about their Dirty Perfume.

Fresh, crisp and cool Spearmint.
A fresh Fragrance loved by everyone, Dirty is a multi-layered Sandalwood, Tarragon and Thyme Perfume. Sandalwood is the earthy, invigorating note that calms, while Lavender adds a floral, woody note to this Fragrance. One sniff and you’ll pick up heady notes of Thyme, Tarragon, Oak moss and Sandalwood.
Spray and go with this minty fresh Perfume to clear the Mind and lift the Spirits. A cooling current bursts from the Bottle, scenting the Skin with invigorating Spearmint, peppery Tarragon, and woody Sandalwood.

How to use.

Spritz directly on to your Wrists and Neck for an immediate dose of your favourite aroma.

How to store.

Store your Perfume somewhere cool and out of direct Sunlight in between uses.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Organic Alcohol Denat, Water, Glycerin, Benzyl Benzoate, Spearmint Oil, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Linalool, Tarragon Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Lavender Extract, Neroli Oil, Thyme Extract, Coumarin, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Eugenol, Oakmoss Extract, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene, Benzyl Cinnamate, Cinnamal, Citral, Citronellol, and Farnesol, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly herbal and soapy Spearmint scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Polo Spearmint Sweets after they’ve just washed their Hands.

It’s longevity.

I really liked how long this lasted on my Skin, as I sprayed a little bit of it on to my Wrists and Neck when I was getting ready at about eight o’clock in the Morning, and I could still faintly smell it on my Skin when I sat down to have my Dinner at about six-thirty in the Evening.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short rectangular Glass Perfume Bottle with a metallic Spray Pump Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Dirty Perfume an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly herbal and soapy Spearmint scent, it’s longevity, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had lasted for even longer on my Skin.
