Arrive On Time With Dates | Lush Eid 2023 Range

Even though I don’t celebrate Eid myself, I absolutely love that Lush has started to release an Eid range every year, as it means that we get to see some kind off deep, smokey, and or spicy products, which for some strange reason they very rarely release. That’s why when I saw that they had released their Eid 2023 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Tub of Sticky Dates Co-Mingle Body Scrub, and a Tub of Turmeric Face Mask, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about both amazing products.

The Sticky Dates Co-Mingle Body Scrub.

Scrub up, it’s a Date!
Eid Mubarak! We have the secret to save time with this Wash, Exfoliant and Moisturiser all in one. What’s not to love? Emerge from the Shower clean, exfoliated, moisturised and smelling of decadent Date Syrup, aromatic Vanilla, and sweet Sandalwood.

How to use.

The Turmeric Face Mask.

An Eid glow up!
An invigorating, astringent Mask to tone the Skin using Turmeric, Orange Juice, and Ginger.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Vanilla Pod Infusion, Spring Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Almond Oil, Ground Almond Shells, Organic Date Syrup, Water, Brazil Nut Oil, Fair Trade Shea Butter, Stearic Acid, Argan Oil, Ground Date Stones, Carob Resinoid, Benzoin Resinoid, Sandalwood Oil, Sunflower Lecithin, Fresh Orange Juice, Gardenia Extract, Cupuaçu Butter, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Carrageenan Extract, Triethanolamine, Cetearyl Alcohol, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious deep and caramely yet ever so slightly sugary Brown Sugar scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bag of Brown Sugar.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Scrub, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and gritty yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thin and gritty yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Scrub rather than a thick and gritty yet ever so slightly oily Body Scrub.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and gritty yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Scrub into a thick and gelatinous Shower Gel with little pieces of ground up Almond Shell and Date Stones in it that combined together to give my Skin a really deep and fine Scrub.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky smooth, soft, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, much healthier and smelling of delicious deep and caramely yet ever so slightly sugary Brown Sugar for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked its packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent ,as even though it contained Kaolin, Glycerine, Fresh Carrot, Fresh Orange Juice, Dried Apricots, Fresh Ginger Root, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Bergamot Oil, Turmeric Powder, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, and Colour 77492, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly Lemon and Blackcurrant scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you’re grating some Carrots up to make a Carrot and Coriander Soup.,

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Face Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous Cleansing Gel with little pieces of Ground up Apricot Shell in it rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Face Mask.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous Cleansing Gel with little pieces of ground up Apricot Shell in it into a thick and creamy Face Mask with little pieces of ground up Apricot Shell in it that set within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked its packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Sticky Dates Co-Mingle Body Scrub a nine out of ten, and the Lush Turmeric Face Mask a nine point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Sticky Dates Co-Mingle Body Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and caramely yet ever so slightly sugary Brown Sugar scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained some kind of Sea Salt to give my Skin an even deeper amount of exfoliation. I really liked the Lush Turmeric Face Mask, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Lemon and Blackcurrant scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range.
