With the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes constantly reappearing, i’m always on the look out for anything that contains a blend of Ceramides, Cica, or Oat Kernel Extract to hopefully try and calm them down and get rid of them. That’s why when I saw that Pacifica had released a Vegan Ceramide Barrier range that claims to contain a blend of Vegan Ceramides and Calendula to leave you with silky soft, soothed and hydrated Skin whilst I was scrolling through Superdrug’s Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to check it out. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Bottle of the Vegan Ceramide Barrier Serum and a Bottle of the Vegan Ceramide Face Lotion, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Its scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Cetearyl Olivate, Glyceryl Stearate, Sorbitan Olivate, Ceramide NP, Ceramide AP, Ceramide EOP, Phytosphingosine, Cholesterol, Marshmallow Leaf & Root Extract, Calendula Flower Extract, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, Avocado Oil, Squalane, Tocopherol, Propanediol, Betaine, Erythritol, Ethylhexyl Olivate, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Propanediol, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Cetyl Alcohol, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Sodium Gluconate, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Phenoxyethanol, and Ethylhexylglycerin, I thought that it had a very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly synthetic Milk scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Carton of Long Life Milk.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Oil rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly oily Facial Serum.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Oil into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Facial Essence that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Face Lotion that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.

I really liked its packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Glass Bottle with a metallic Pump Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Pacifica Vegan Ceramide Barrier Serum a nine point five out of ten, and the Pacifica Vegan Ceramide Face Lotion a nine point five out of ten. I really liked the Pacifica Vegan Ceramide Barrier Serum, as I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly creamy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly Synthetic Milk scent. I really liked the Pacifica Vegan Ceramide Face Lotion, as I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly synthetic Milk scent.
