Even though I don’t shave any part of my Face anymore, I still shave other parts of my Body, like my Back and Shoulders, as if I don’t they can get incredibly out of control in a matter of weeks. That’s why when I saw that The Yorkshire Soap Company had released a range of Shaving Creams as part of their Father’s Day 2024 range whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pop im and check them all out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Tin of Yorkshire Lad Shaving Cream, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

How to use.

Apply with your Hands or a Shaving Brush, lather, shave, rinse and dry.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Stearic Acid, Myristic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Coconut Oil, Glycerin, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hydroxide, Citral, Hexyl Cinnamic Aldehyde, Limonene, and Linalool, I thought that it had a delicious deep and zesty yet ever so slightly woody Bergamot scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk into a Barbers after they’ve just sprayed some really zesty smelling Aftershave.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shaving Cream, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Cleansing Butter rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Shaving Cream.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had scooped a little bit of it out of it’s Tin and had started to massage it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Cleansing Butter into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly frothy Shaving Cream that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky smooth, soft, soothed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and zesty yet ever so slightly woody Bergamot for at least an hour after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Metal Tin with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate The Yorkshire Soap Company Yorkshire Lad Shaving Cream an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and zesty yet ever so slightly woody Bergamot scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Lemon and Bergamot.
