I would absolutely love silky soft, smooth and hydrated Feet, but with all of the walking that I do they’re unfortunately always dry, rough and dehydrated which means that i’m constantly on the lookout for anything that will give them a little bit of TLC. That’s why when I had heard that Lush had released a Foot Care 2025 range that includes a range of Foot Masks, Foot Scrubs and Foot Soaks, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Put The Boot In Foot Soak, and a Block of Gilded Walnut Foot Scrub, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

What’s in it for you?
With Bacteria-busting Apple Cider Vinegar to gently exfoliate and help restore balance to the Skin.
A little Peppermint and Spearmint Oil to give Toes a little cooling, cleansing and refreshing after a day stuck inside hardy Boots. Hopefully it’ll help rid you of any funky foot odours too!

It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Epsom Salts, Popping Candy, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Apple Cider Vinegar Powder, Peppermint Oil, Spearmint Oil, Clove Bud Oil, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Cornstarch, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Dipropylene Glycol, Eugenol, Limonene, Fragrance, Colour 42090:2, and Colour 19140:1, I thought that it had a very overwhelming fresh and minty yet ever so slightly musky Peppermint scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up a massive Pile of dead Mint Leaves.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright White Foam all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous bright Green all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright White Foam to turn my entire Bowl a stunning shimmering Pale Green colour. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, that it released little pieces of Epsom Salt and Popping Candy all over the surface of the Water that eventually dissolved and left behind some incredibly silky soft feeling Water as well as making it sound like a Boot was actually splashing around in my Bowl.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Feet feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left them smelling of very overwhelming fresh and minty yet ever so slightly musky Peppermint for hours after I had used it.

It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Fine Sea Salt, Illipe Butter, Sodium Bicarbonate, Cupuaçu Butter, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cream of Tartar, Walnut Butter, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Sweet Wild Orange Oil, Lime Oil, Ground Almond Shells, Walnut Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Lauryl Betaine, Silica, Tin Oxide, Citral, Citronellol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, and Colour 77491, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly spicy Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Packet of Orange, Ginger and Dark Chocolate Biscuits.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to rub it against my Feet, it started to release lots of incredibly chunky and gritty yet ever so slightly buttery pieces of Fine Sea Salt and Ground Almond Shell that blended together to give my Feet a really deep and harsh yet ever so slightly moisturising Scrub.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Feet feeling incredibly silky smooth, squeaky clean, soft, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left them smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly spicy Orange for hours after I had used it.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Put The Boot In Foot Soak an eight out of ten, and the Lush Gilded Walnut Foot Scrub a nine out of ten. I really liked the Lush Put The Boot In Foot Soak, as I absolutely loved what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very overwhelming fresh and minty yet ever so slightly musky Peppermint scent. I really liked the Lush Gilded Walnut Foot Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly spicy Orange scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Orange and Lime.
