Apart from the Nights getting darker earlier and the Weather getting much cooler, I always know that Autumn is on it’s way when Lush releases their spooky and usually Lord of Misrule-filled Halloween range. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their Halloween 2023 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Jason’s Mummy Bath Bomb, a Magic Potion Bath Bomb, a Screaming Banshee Bath Bomb, a Bonehead Bubble Bar, and a Block of Ghost In The Dark Soap, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.,
Here’s what Lush say about all five delicious smelling products.
The Jason’s Mummy Bath Bomb.
Wrap yourself in a glow in the dark Bath!
Charge up in the Light and illuminate your Bath time. Citrusy scents of Tangerine and Grapefruit Oils unravel in the Water, while a glowing stare scares away the stresses of the day.
How to use.
Run a Bath, hop in, and wrap yourself in Citrus.
How to store.
Preserve this Mummy somewhere cool and dry until ready to use.
The Magic Potion Bath Bomb.
Conjure an enchanted Bath time.
Transform your Bath time with an alakazam! Watch the bright colours fizz and pop, casting a Spell of warm, spicy and fruity fragranced notes across enchanted elixir waters.
How to use.
Drop into your Bath to release magical Purple Waters, bewitched with Jasmine Absolute, Bergamot and Ylang Ylang Oils.

The Screaming Banshee Bath Bomb.
A waily sweet Bath.
This wailing Banshee’s pairing of Sweet Apple Powder and Sea Salty Tears seal your fate, you’re in for an otherworldly Bath. Bergamot and Grapefruit Oils swirl around you, creating a Bath time worth howling about.
How to use.
Drop into Warm Bath Water for a soak that’s a real scream.

The Bonehead Bubble Bar.
That’s one fresh Skeleton.
Nothing scary to see here, this numbskull’s only bringing foolish fun. Amongst the minty-fresh Bubble Mountains you’ll feel the pristine clean and fresh Spearmint fragrance right down to your Bones, before the relaxing, calm Blue Waters take hold.
How to use.
Crumble Bonehead under running Water, then settle in as the Bubbles surround you.
How to store.
Keep cool and dry until you’re bone tired, and in need of minty refreshment.
The Ghost In The Dark Soap.
A glow up for your Soap Dish.
Exspectre really good wash with refreshing Lemongrass and uplifting Bergamot Oils to blow away the cobwebs. Charge this Ghost in the light and watch as it gives off a ghoulish glow-in-the-dark aura!
How to use.
No need to be afraid. Charge up in the light, then lather, rinse, and repeat.
How to store.
Pop this Phantom in a Soap Dish to dry between washes, using fresh is best.

Its scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Limonene, Tangerine Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Litsea Cubeba Oil, Water, Cornstarch, Titanium Dioxide, Talc, Alcohol Denat, Luminescent Zinc Sulphide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Dipropylene Glycol, Citral, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 15850:1, and Colour 77491, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Tangerine scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had dropped a partially chewed Orange Starburst into a massive Glass of Tangerine Juice.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright White Foam all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of vibrant dark Red all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright White Foam to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering Blood Red colour.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Tangerine for hours after I had used it.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Alcohol Denat, Popping Candy, Fragrance, Bergamot Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Ylang Ylang Oil, Dragonfruit Powder, Nettle Powder, Titanium Dioxide, Cream Of Tartar, Water, Cornstarch, Talc, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Dipropylene Glycol, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Silica, Amyl Cinnamal, Hydroxycitronellol, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 45410:2, Colour 42090:2, Colour 42090, Colour 15850:1, Colour 45410, Colour 45410:1, Colour 77491, Colour 42053, Colour 17200, and Colour 77499, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly powdery Jasmine scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Box of some very floral Jasmine Washing Powder.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Pink all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous bright Blue all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright Pink to turn my entire Bath a stunning Pastel Purple colour. Then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of beautiful dark Purple and bright Gold Glitter all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the stunning Pastel Purple to turn my entire Bath a mesmerising shimmering bright Purple colour. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, that it released little pieces of Popping Candy all over the surface of the Water that made it sound like a Potion was actually bubbling and frothing in my Bath.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly powdery Jasmine for hours after I had used it.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cream Of Tartar, Bergamot Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Almond Essential Oil, Fine Sea Salt, Apple Powder, Water, Popping Candy, Gardenia Extract, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Dipropylene Glycol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 42090, and Colour 45410, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Blackcurrant and Violet scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Palma Violet Sweets into a massive Jug of Blackcurrant Juice.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Blue all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous dark Purple all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright Blue to turn my entire Bath a stunning Sea Blue colour. I also really liked that as it was fizzing and hissing, that it released little pieces of Sea Salt all over the surface of the Water that left behind some really silky soft feeling Water, and that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, that it released some little pieces of Popping Candy all over the surface of the Water that made it sound like a Banshee was actually wailing in my Bath.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Blackcurrant and Violet for hours after I had used it.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream Of Tartar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Fine Sea Salt, Lauryl Betaine, Cornstarch, Fragrance, Spearmint Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Glycerine, Water, Tragacanth Gum, Alcohol Denat, Benzyl Alcohol, Limonene, Colour 77499, and Colour 42090, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly grassy Peppermint scent to it that kind of reminded me of a Stick of Wrigley’s Double Mint Chewing Gum.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had crumbled a little bit of it under some running Water and had let my Bath fill all the way to the top, it created mounds of incredibly silky soft vibrant bright Blue Bubbles that made it look like I was bathing in a Sea of Clouds in the middle of the Ocean.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly grassy Peppermint for hours after I had used it.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Propylene Glycol, Fair Trade Organic Coca Butter, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Castor Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Luminescent Zinc Sulphide, Limonene, Fragrance, Lemongrass Oil, Bergamot Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Citric Acid, Sodium Bicarbonate, Citral, Geraniol, and Linalool, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemongrass scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Jar of Lemon Curd.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to create a really thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy lather that spread really easily across my Hands. I also really liked that once I had charged it up and had left it on the Windowsill in my Bathroom for a couple of hours, that it actually managed to subtly glow in the dark.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hands feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left them smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemongrass for at least fifteen minutes after I had used it. ,
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Jason’s Mummy Bath Bomb an eight out of ten, the Lush Magic Potion Bath Bomb a nine out of ten, the Lush Screaming Banshee Bath Bomb an eight point five out of ten, the Lush Bonehead Bubble Bar an eight point five out of ten, and the Lush Ghost In The Dark Soap a nine out of ten. I really liked the Lush Jason’s Mummy Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Tangerine scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Tangerine. I really liked the Lush Magic Potion Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly powdery Jasmine scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Screaming Banshee Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Blackcurrant and Violet scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had been a little bit bigger. I really liked the Lush Bonehead Bubble Bar, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly grassy Peppermint scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had contained a little bit of Rosemary, Spearmint, or maybe even Thyme to round it’s scent off a little bit. I really liked the Lush Ghost In The Dark Soap, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemongrass scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was part of their main range.
