If you didn’t already know, one of my favourite Facial Serums definitely has to be the Garnier Vitamin C Anti-Dark Spot & Brightening Serum, as I absolutely love how silky soft, hydrated and glowing it leaves my Skin looking and feeling. That’s why when I saw that they had also released an SkinActive Anti-Dark Spot Night Serum that claims to contain 10% Pure Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid to leave you with silky soft, hydrated and glowing-looking Skin whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

How to use.
Apply three to four drops on to cleansed Skin every night. This Serum can be used twice a day as desired. This water-based Serum contains a high concentration of Pure Vitamin C from natural origin and is formulated without Silicone, so your Skin might feel slightly ‘sticky for a few seconds after application. Apply a Moisturiser afterwards for a perfect Skin finish.
Its scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Ascorbic Acid, Pentylene Glycol, Glycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Hydroxyocetophenone, Salicylic Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Adenosine, Trisodium Ethylenediomine Disuccinate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Linalool, Limonene, Geraniol, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious deep and zesty yet ever so slightly fruity Bitter Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Carton of freshly-squeezed Orange Juice.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Facial Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Micellar Water rather than a thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly oily Facial Serum.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when i used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Micellar Water into a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly oily Facial Serum that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear, a lot brighter and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short rounded cylindrical Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Garnier SkinActive Anti-Dark Spot Night Serum a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and zesty yet ever so slightly fruity Bitter Orange scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained a much higher percentage of Vitamin C to leave me with even brighter-looking Skin.
