Whenever I got any Pocket Money as a Child, one of my favourite things to do was to pop down to my local Newsagents and buy a Quarter Bag of Sweets or one of their Bags of Pick ‘N’ Mix, which usually included things like Chewits, Haribo Happy Cherries, and miniature Tubes of Palma Violets. That’s why when I had heard that Bird & Blend Tea Company had released an x Swizzles collection that claims to contain a range of Teas all inspired by some of Swizzles most popular Sweets, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and check everything out. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Palma Violet Tea Cube, and a Refreshers Tea Cube, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Bird & Blend Tea Company say about both delicious tasting Teas.

The Bird & Blend Tea Company x Swizzles Refreshers Tea Cube.
Zingy and refreshing – this Tea blend is a blast from the past! We love a good sweetie here at B&B, so when we started to collab with Swizzels we were super excited! This fruit infusion is zesty, and sure to give you a pep in your step!

It’s brewing time.
It said that you were supposed to brew this for four minutes at 100ºC, which I thought was the perfect amount of time, as whenever I brewed it for any less I thought that it tasted incredibly weak and basically just tasted of really sweet Sugar Water, and that whenever I brewed it for any longer that it tasted extremely sour and just tasted of Black Tea.
It’s taste.
I really liked it’s taste, as even though it contained First Flush Darjeeling Black Tea, Sri Lankan Black Tea, Hibiscus, Mallow Flowers, and Flavouring, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly powdery Palma Violet taste to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Palma Violet Sweets into a massive Mug of some very strong Black Tea.
It’s packaging.
I really liked its packaging, as this came individually wrapped in a very secure Paper Sachet that kept the Teabag really fresh until I was ready to use it.

I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Apple Pieces, Rosehip, Lemongrass, Orange Peel, Calendula Petals, and Natural Flavouring, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemon taste to it that kind of reminded me of the taste you get whenever you first bite into a Refreshers Chew Bar.

My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Bird & Blend Tea Company x Swizzles Palma Violet Tea Cube an eight out of ten, and the Bird & Blend Tea Company x Swizzles Refreshers Tea Cube a nine point five out of ten. I really liked the Bird & Blend Tea Company x Swizzles Palma Violet Tea Cube, as I absolutely loved it’s brewing time, it’s delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly powdery Palma Violet taste, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had tasted a little bit more of Palma Violets.
