One of the things that I love about Lush, especially when it comes to their Face Masks, Haircare, and Skincare, definitely has to be that they’re always using some really cool and quirky formulations as well as the freshest ingredients to create some truly amazing products. That’s why when I had heard that they had released a Halloween Fresh 2026 range that includes some Fresh Face Masks, some Facial Gummy Washes, a Fresh Hair Food and a Fresh Body Scrub, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Tub of Jack O Lantern Fresh Hair Food, and a Lucky Cat Facial Gummy Wash, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Organic Soya Yoghurt, Water, Glycerin, Spaghetti Squash, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Lentil Powder, Cetearyl Alcohol, Organic Avocado Oil, Fragrance, Sodium Alginate, Benzoin Resinoid Extract, Carob Resinoid, Sandalwood Oil, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Limonene, and Pinene, I thought that it had a delicious deep and caramely yet ever so slightly sugary Brown Sugar scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Brown Sugar Boba Tea that’s been topped with some Caramel Sauce on a balmy Autumn Afternoon.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Hair Food, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like an incredibly thin and creamy Cleansing Milk with little pieces of crushed up Lentils in it rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy Hair Food.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Hair, it turned from an incredibly thin and creamy Cleansing Milk with little pieces of crushed up Lentils in it into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Hair Mask that spread really easily through my Hair.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hair and Scalp feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, calm, soothed, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely volumised, a lot shinier and much healthier for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Clear Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerin, Water, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Propylene Glycol, Fresh Aloe Gel, Carrageenan Extract, Violet Leaf Extract, Almond Essential Oil, Vanilla Extract, Rose Oil, Bergamot Oil, Activated Charcoal, Acetyl Cedrene, Linalool, Limonene, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Violet and Blueberry scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Palma Violet Sweets into a massive Glass of Blueberry Juice.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Facial Gummy Wash, I thought that it felt incredibly tough and hard yet ever so slightly rubbery, and was more like an incredibly tough and hard yet ever so slightly rubbery Fruit Gum rather than a soft and squishy yet ever so slightly rubbery Facial Gummy Wash.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had dampened my Face with some Warm Water and had started to swipe it across my Skin, it started to release lots of incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly frothy Face Wash all over my Skin that spread really easily across my Face.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, soothed, matte, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came wrapped in a really thick piece of Biodegradable Plastic securely sealed by several Sticky Labels that kept the Facial Gummy Wash really fresh until I was ready to start using it.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Jack O Lantern Fresh Hair Food an eight point five out of ten, and the Lush Lucky Cat Facial Gummy Wash a nine point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Jack O Lantern Fresh Hair Food, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and caramely yet ever so slightly sugary Brown Sugar scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it hadn’t contained so many pieces of crushed up Lentil, as I never knew if I had washed them all out of my Hair or not. I really liked the Lush Lucky Cat Facial Gummy Wash, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Violet and Blueberry scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range.,
