From switching to more Plastic-free and eco-friendly products, to recycling as much as I possibly can, i’m always trying to reduce the amount of Plastic that I use. That’s why when I had heard that Lush had released an x SpongeBob range to promote Plastic Free July, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a SpongeBob Bath Bomb, a Surprised Patrick Bath Bomb, a Squidward Bubble Bar, and a Home Sweet Pineapple Body Balm, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all four delicious smelling products.

The SpongeBob Bath Bomb.

Cheerful Passion Fruit.

The Lush SpongeBob Bath Bomb.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Buchu Oil, Litsea Cubeba Oil, Sweet Wild Orange Oil, Pineapple Powder, Cornstarch, Water, Cream Of Tartar, Popping Candy, Titanium Dioxide, Dipropylene Glycol, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Citral, Limonene, Fragrance, Colour 47005, and Colour 42090, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Passionfruit scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Trident Passionfruit Gum.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of gorgeous bright Yellow all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of beautiful bright Blue all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the gorgeous bright Yellow to turn my entire Bath a stunning neon Yellow colour. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, that it released a little pair of Paper Pants as well as some pieces of Popping Candy all over the surface of the Water that made it sound like SpongeBob was actually jumping around and laughing in my Bath.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Passionfruit for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Surprised Patric Bath Bomb.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Cornstarch, Fir Balsam Resinoid, Vanilla Absolute, Coconut Milk Powder, Popping Candy, Cream Of Tartar, Water, Dipropylene Glycol, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Propylene Glycol, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Benzyl Alcohol, Fragrance, Colour 47005, Colour 14700, Colour 15985:1, Colour 19140:1, Colour 45410:2, and Colour 45410:1, I thought that it had a delicious deep and creamy yet ever so slightly nutty Coconut scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up a recently cracked Coconut Shell.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Pink all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous bright Orange all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright Pink  to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering bright Peach colour. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, that it released a little pair of Paper Pants as well as some pieces of Popping Candy all over the surface of the Water that made it sound like Patrick was actually jumping in shock in my Bath.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and creamy yet ever so slightly nutty Coconut for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Squidward Bubble Bar.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Cornstarch, Limonene, Fragrance, Persian Lime Oil, Seaweed Absolute, Violet Leaf Absolute, Titanium Dioxide, Blue Spirulina Extract, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Citral, Linalool, Colour 47005, and Colour 42090:2, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly oceanic Vodka, Lime and Salt scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a Vodka Body Shot on a very raucous Night Out.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had crumbled a little bit of it under some running Water and had let my Bath fill all the way to the top, it created mounds of incredibly silky soft shimmering dark Blue Bubbles that made it look like I was bathing in a Sea of Waves at Sunset.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly oceanic Vodka, Lime and Salt for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Home Sweet Pineapple Body Balm.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Shea Butter, Apricot Kernel Oil, Mango Butter, Fresh Pineapple Juice, Fragrance, Gardenia Extract, Davana Oil, Tonka Absolute, Fir Balsam Resinoid, Benzyl Alcohol, Coumarin, Geraniol, and Limonene, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly tropical Pineapple scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Pina Colada on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had slightly warmed it between my Hands and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to release lots of incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Lotion all over my Body that sank into my Skin within a matter of minutes.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, much healthier and smelling of delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly tropical Pineapple for hours after I had used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush SpongeBob Bath Bomb an eight point five out of ten, the Lush Surprised Patrick Bath Bomb a nine out of ten, the Lush Squidward Bubble Bar a nine point five out of ten, and the Lush Home Sweet Pineapple Body Balm a nine point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush SpongeBob Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Passion Fruit scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had done a little bit more when I had used it. I really liked the Lush Surprised Patrick Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and creamy yet ever so slightly nutty Coconut scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Coconut. I really liked the Lush Squidward Bubble Bar, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and oceanic yet ever so slightly zesty Vodka, Lime and Salt scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Home Sweet Pineapple Body Balm, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly tropical Pineapple scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Pineapple and that it was also part of their main range.
