A Matcha Made In Heaven For Dry Skin | Lush Matcha Ultra Fresh Face Mask

Even though i’ve never really been a massive fan of Lush’s Skincare, I do actually rather like their Fresh Face Masks as they allow me to unwind for ten or fifteen minutes whilst also leaving me with incredibly silky soft, smooth and hydrated Skin. That’s why when I went to Lush Liverpool Spa a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to stop by their Fresh Face Mask Department to check out all of the exclusive Fresh Face Masks that they had on offer. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Matcha Ultra Fresh Face Mask, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Lush say about their Matcha Ultra Fresh Face Mask.

A Matcha made in Heaven, Fresh Lemon Juice, antioxidant Matcha and nutrient-rich Spirulina brighten and feed the Skin while Kaolin, Jojoba and Evening Primrose Oil leaves it feeling soft, toned and cleansed.

Benefits.

  • Kaolin, Jojoba and Evening Primrose Oil leave the Skin soft, clean and toned.
  • Fresh Lemon Juice rich in Vitamin C sublimates and purifies the Skin.
  • Antimicrobial Clary Sage Oil delights the senses with it’s bright and herbaceous aroma.

How to use.

Apply a generous layer to your Face, leave on for ten to fifteen minutes, then rinse with Warm Water. For complete relaxation, we recommend combining it with one of our soothing Cucumber Eye Pads, and why not also pour yourself a good Cup of Tea to enjoy while the Mask gets to work too?

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Kaolin, Talc, Fresh Lemon Juice, Organic Cold-Pressed Evening Primrose Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Spirulina Powder, Clary Sage Oil, Matcha Powder, Geraniol, Limonene, and Linalool, I thought that it had a delicious deep and grassy yet ever so slightly herbal Green Tea scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had ground up some freshly picked Green Tea Leaves.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an Ultra Fresh Face Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like an incredibly thick and gloopy Cleansing Paste with little bits of Matcha Powder in it rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy Ultra Fresh Face Mask..

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly gritty Cleansing Paste with little bits of Matcha Powder in it into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Ultra Fresh Face Mask that set within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, purified, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clearer and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Matcha Ultra Fresh Face Mask a nine point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and grassy yet ever so slightly herbal Green Tea scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was a little bit easier to get hold of. I also think that it would be perfect for anyone who has Dry to Combination Skin who wants their Skin to feel silky soft, purified and hydrated without totally drying it out.
