As well as having quite a lot of Asian Friends, I also have a few Asian Family Members, and i’m always looking for ways to celebrate their Culture, Religious Holidays and Traditions. That’s why when I had heard that Lush had released a Mid-Autumn Festival 2026 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Snowy Mooncake Bubble Bar, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Break and crumble under running Water for mountains of minty Bubbles. Why not share half with your nearest and dearest?

No need to freeze this Sweet Treat, simply store somewhere cool and dry until you’re ready to crumble.
It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Potassium Bitartrate (Cream of Tartar), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Cornstarch, Spearmint Oil, Orange Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Alpha-Terpinene, Benzyl Alcohol, Beta-Caryophyllene, Carvone, Limonene, Menthol, Pinene, Fragrance, Colour 45411:2, Colour 45410:1, Colour 42090, Colour 42090:2, and Colour 73360, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and minty yet ever so slightly zesty Spearmint scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up a massive Pile of freshly-picked Spearmint Leaves.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of minutes and had let my Bath fill all the way to the top, it created mounds of incredibly silky soft shimmering Bright Pink Bubbles that made it look like I was bathing in a Sea of Candy Floss at Twilight. I also really liked that once I had gotten into my Bath, that the Spearmint Oil and Menthol combined to give a very slight cooling sensation which was great whenever I was in the grips of a Migraine and my entire Body was on Fire.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and minty yet ever so slightly zesty Spearmint for hours after I had used it.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Snowy Mooncake Bubble Bar a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and minty yet ever so slightly zesty Spearmint scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was part of their main range, as unfortunately there aren’t that many minty-smelling Bubble Bars in their main range.
