It’s just my luck that as soon as Summer arrives my Skin decides to have a meltdown and become incredibly dry, rough and dull, which means that i’ve been on the lookout for anything that will quickly return it to it’s usually silky soft, hydrated and glowing-looking former self. That’s why when I remembered that I had bought the Boots 24 Days Of Skincare 2025 Advent Calendar that contained a Tube of the Soap & Glory Face Soap & Clarity Facial Wash with Vitamin C that claims to be a 3-in-1 daily Face Wash that leaves you with squeaky clean, silky soft, hydrated and brighter-looking Skin whilst I was scrolling through their Website last year, I obviously had to dig it out and start using it. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Sodium cocoyl methyl isethionate, Glycerin, Acrylates copolymer, Cocamidopropyl betaine, PEG-7 Glyceryl cocoate, Fragrance, Coco-Glucoside, Glyceryl oleate, Synthetic wax, Dipropylene glycol, Sodium hydroxide, Sodium chloride, Tetrasodium EDTA, Limonene, Citric acid, Ascorbyl glucoside, Polyquaternium-7, Benzophenone-4, Amyl cinnamal, Linalool, Magnesium nitrate, Yuzu fruit extract, Sodium benzoate, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Tocopherol, Magnesium chloride, Hydrogenated vegetable glycerides citrate, Methylisothiazolinone, Maltodextrin, Titanium Dioxide, CI 77891, CI 73360, and CI 42090, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Tangerine scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you cut into a perfectly-ripened Tangerine.
It’s consistency.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Facial Wash, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gritty Shower Scrub rather than a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Facial Wash.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gritty Shower Scrub into a thin and frothy Facial Wash with little pieces of Synthetic Wax Bead Scrub Particles running through it that spread really easily across my Face.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, matte, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit brighter and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short and wide conical Plastic Tube with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Soap & Glory Face Soap & Clarity Facial Wash with Vitamin C an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Tangerine scent, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gritty consistency. I also wish that it was available without the Synthetic Wax Bead Scrub Particles, as if i’m going to use a Face Wash with Scrubbing Particles in it, I would prefer it to also had some kind of Exfoliating or Enzymatic Acid in it as well.
