Even though i’m not usually a massive fan of anything that smells of Flowers, I do look forward to when Lush releases their Mother’s Day range, as I absolutely love seeing all of the cool, quirky and usually floral scented products that they release. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their Mother’s Day 2022 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up an Elephant In The Tea Room Bath Bomb, a Besties Bubble Bar, a Bottle of the Mimosa Shower Gel, a Tub of the Yummy Custard Body Wash, a Tub of the Lovely Hand Balm, and a Wonder Mum Eye Cream & Masks, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all six delicious smelling products.

The Elephant In The Tea Room Bath Bomb.

Slip this adorable fizzer into your Bath and enjoy thee elegant scent of Tea and Biscuits.

How to use.

Run a Bath and add to steep yourself in Sencha Tea, fragrant Bergamot and a dash of Soya Milk. Bring Afternoon Tea to your Bath Time with this Glitter-free malty scented Bath Bomb.

How to store.

Keep in a cool, dry place ready for gifting this Mother’s Day.

The Besties Bubble Bar.

Zesty, sharable Suds.

How to use.

Half for me and half for you! Family sized with enough to share, hold this uplifting Citrus Bubble maker under running Water for a Foam filled Bath.

How to store.

Perfect bubbly love for Mother’s Day from your Mini Me, keep cool and dry until ready to gift or use.

The Mimosa Shower Gel.

A bubbly, Citrus Shower Cocktail.

How to use.

Made with a blend of Mimosa Flower Absolute and a dash of Fresh Orange Juice, this formula is rich in Plant-based Glycerine, which softens the Skin and locks in moisture. Lather all over your Body for a refreshing and floral cleanse before rinsing off.

How to use.

Our secret recipe for soft Skin. Made with Vanilla infused Oat Milk, you might see the tiny Black Seeds, and thickened with Cornstarch. Scoop out a good handful and slather all over the Body. Massage in, then wash off.

The Lush Elephant In The Tea Room Bath Bomb.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Fragrance, Bergamot Oil, Lemon Myrtle Oil, Benzoin Resinoid, Soybean Flower, Powdered Gunpowder Tea, Organic Sencha Tea Powder, Titanium Dioxide, Water, Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Dipropylene Glycol, Citral, Hydroxycitronellol, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 45510:2, Colour 15850:1, Colour 45410:1, Colour 42053, Colour 42090, Colour 14700, and Colour 17200, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and malty yet ever so slightly citrusy Earl Grey Tea scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you brew a massive Mug of Earl Grey Tea.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of vibrant bright Red all over the surface of the water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of beautiful bright Blue all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended together to turn my entire Bath a stunning bright Purple colour.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and malty yet ever so slightly citrusy Earl Grey Tea for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Besties Bubble Bar.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream Of Tartar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cornstarch, Lauryl Betaine, Limonene, Fragrance, Brazilian Orange Oil, Lime Oil, Glycerine, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Tragacanth Gum, Alcohol Denat, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Citral, Citronellol, Geraniol, Linalool, Colour 47005:1, Colour 45410:2, Colour 17200, and Colour 45410, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Buck’s Fizz on Christmas Morning.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of minutes and had let my Bath fill all the way to the top, it created mounds of incredibly silky soft bright Yellow Bubbles that made it look like I was bathing in a Sea of Clouds at Sunrise.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Orange for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Mimosa Shower Gel.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Elderflower Infusion, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Glycerine, Water, Lauryl Betaine, Fragrance, Limonene, Fresh Orange Juice, Wine Lees Oil, Mimosa Absolute, Sweet Wild Orange Oil, Carnation Absolute, Lactic Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Propylene Glycol, Citral, Citronellol, Geraniol, Linalool, Colour 47005, Colour 19140:1, and Colour 15510, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Orange and Mimosa scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Mimosa on a balmy Spring Afternoon.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Gel Face Wash rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Gel Face Wash into a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Orange and Mimosa for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Yummy Custard Body Wash.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Vanilla Oat Milk, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Fair Trade Organic Aloe Vera Gel, Cornstarch, Fragrance, Vanilla Pod Powder, Gardenia Extract, Titanium Dioxide, and Citric Acid, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly musky Vanilla scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you make a massive Pan of Vanilla Custard.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Wash, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy Body Butter rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Body Wash.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy Body Butter into a thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Body Wash that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, squeaky clean, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly musky Vanilla for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Lovely Hand Balm.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Fair Trade Organic Aloe Vera Gel, Water, Squalane, Stearic Acid, Glycerine, Cetearyl Olivate & Sorbitan Olivate, Almond Oil, Fragrance, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Macadamia Nut Oil, Everlasting Flower Absolute, Ylang Ylang Oil, Fair Trade Shea Butter, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Soya Oil, Sodium Alginate, Wheat Germ Oil, Linseed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Phenoxyethanol, Benzyl Alcohol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Amyl Cinnamal, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, Cinnamal, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Citral, Citronellol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellol, Isoeugenol, Limonene, and Linalool, I thought that it had a very strange sweet and floral yet ever so slightly medicinal Ylang Ylang scent to it that kind of reminded me of some very cheap Hospital Hand Gel.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Hand Balm, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Hand Cream rather than a thick and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Hand Balm.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Hands, it turned from an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Hand Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Hand Balm that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hands feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left them smelling of very strange sweet and floral yet ever so slightly medicinal ylang Ylang for at least ten minutes after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Wonder Mum Eye Cream & Masks.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Fennel Seed and Saffron Infusion, Fresh Aloe Gel, Carrageenan Extract, Fresh Carrot Juice, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Silica, Colour 77491, Colour 14700, and Colour 17200, I thought that it had a very light and delicate yet ever so slightly grassy Aloe Vera scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking past a massive Aloe Vera Plant on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an Eye Cream and Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and rubbery yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thick and rubbery yet ever so slightly gelatinous block of Shower Jelly rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Eye Cream and Mask.

What it did when I used it.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of what this did when I used it, as once I had removed it from it’s packaging, it more or less disintegrated on me and turned itself into little pieces of very rubbery Jelly. I did however like what the parts of it that I managed to salvage did when I used them though, as once I had placed one of them over my Eyes, it very slowly started to release little droplets of incredibly thin and watery Aloe Vera Gel and Carrageenan Extract all over my Eyes that eventually set and securely stuck the remaining pieces of Eye Mask to my Eyes so that I could move around without worrying that they were going to fall off.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Eyes feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left them looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit brighter and much healthier for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a massive piece of Biodegradable Plastic Wrap that kept the Mask really fresh until I was ready to use it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Elephant In The Tea Room Bath Bomb an eight point five out of ten, the Lush Besties Bubble Bar an eight point five out of ten, the Lush Mimosa Shower Gel a nine out of ten, the Lush Yummy Custard Body Wash an eight out of ten, the Lush Lovely Hand Balm a seven point five out of ten, and the Lush Wonder Mum Eye Cream & Masks a five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Elephant In The Tea Room Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and malty yet ever so slightly citrusy Earl Grey Tea scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Citrus. I really liked the Lush Besties Bubble Bar, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Orange scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had been a little bit bigger. I really liked the Lush Mimosa Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Orange and Mimosa scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Yummy Custard Body Wash, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly musky Vanilla scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but given that i’m not usually a massive fan of anything that smells of Vanilla, it’s sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly musky Vanilla scent did kind of get on my nerves after a while. I really liked the Lush Lovely Hand Balm, as I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s incredibly sweet and floral yet ever so slightly medicinal Ylang Ylang scent. I really liked the Lush Wonder Mum Eye Cream & Mask, as I absolutely loved it’s very light and delicate yet ever so slightly grassy Aloe Vera scent, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it hadn’t totally disintegrated on me when I had taken it out of it’s packaging.
