My Skin Always Needs A Boost Of Moisture During Winter | Superdrug Vitamin E Moisture Boost Serum

Even though I usually have Oily to Combination Skin, my Skin tends to get incredibly dry and irritated during Winter, especially due to all of the Cold Weather and Central Heating. That’s why when I saw that Nadine Baggott had released a The Complete Winter Skincare Edit in collaboration with Superdrug that contained a Bottle of their Vitamin E Moisture Boost Serum whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A short cylindrical clear plastic bottle full of some creamy white liquid with a clear plastic pump lid that has Superdrug Vitamin E Moisture Boost Serum written in bold black writing and a picture of some droplets of Vitamin E Oil on it, on a white background.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Glycerin, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Polyacrylamide, Butylene Glycol, Dimethiconol Crosspolymer, Dimethiconol, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Laureth-7, Betaine, Fragrance, Bilberry Fruit Extract, SugarcaneExtract, Orange Fruit Extract, Lemon Fruit Extract, Maple Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, Tocopherol, Lauroyl Lysine, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hydroxide, Coumarin, Linalool, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Alcohol Denat, PEG-15 Castor Oil, Polysorbate 20, Horse Chestnut Seed Extract, Retinyl Palmitate, Inositol, Calcium Pantothenate, Linoleic Acid, Biotin, and Phenoxyethanol, I thought that it had a very overpowering sweet and floral yet ever so slightly nutty Coconut scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Can of Coconut Milk.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Facial Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Oil rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly oily Facial Serum.,

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Oil into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly watery Facial Serum that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a Pump Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Superdrug Vitamin E Moisture Boost Serum an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly creamy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very overpowering sweet and floral yet ever so slightly nutty Coconut scent.
