It’s My Party And I’ll Bathe If I Want To | Lush Party Exclusives Range

With it being my Birthday on Saturday, I was planning on hosting a Lush Party, but with the current situation that obviously can’t happen. That’s why when I had heard that my local Lush store were selling some of the Lush Party Exclusive range that’s normally only available if you have one of their In Store Parties, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Party Balloon Silver Reusable Bubble Bar and a Tub of Crash Shower Jelly, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about both delicious smelling products.

The Party Balloon Silver Reusable Bubble Bar.

Pop Bubbles instead of Balloons with this reusable Bubble Bar! This upliftingly bright fragrance will make you feel light on your Feet, so pick your perfect colour and get ready to Party, just don’t get carried away!

The Crash Shower Jelly.

It’s time to get celebrating. It’s your Party and you can jiggle if you want to. Lather up with fresh Orange Juice and Lime Oil for washes that take the Party to the next level. This popular fragrance has featured in many Lush products in the past, so let’s celebrate it’s return in style.

Simply wobble and lather or chill if you’d rather! Enjoy this Jelly straight from the Fridge or Freezer for an energising cleanse that puts you in the Party mood.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Carbonate, Cream Of Tartar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerin, Lauryl Betaine, Limonene, Grapefruit Oil, Lime Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Tin Oxide, Citral, Fragrance, and Colour 59040, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fruity Lime scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk into the Kitchen after someone’s just made themselves a massive Glass of Lime Cordial.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had let my Bath fill all the way to the top, it created tons of incredibly silky soft shimmering fluorescent Green Bubbles that made it look like I was bathing in a Sea of fluorescent Green Clouds. I was however a little bit disappointed though, as even though it was called the Party Balloon Silver Reusable Bubble Bar, it unfortunately didn’t create any Silver coloured Bubbles and the Silver Lustre that the Bubble Bar was coated in also more or less totally vanished the second that the Water hit it.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fruity Lime for about an hour after I had used it.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerin, Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Carrageenan Extract, Luminescent Zinc Sulfide, Sweet Orange Oil, Lime Oil, Cognac Oil, Fresh Orange Juice, Titanium Dioxide, Lauryl Betaine, Citronellol, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, and Colour 59040, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking an entire Bottle of Buck’s Fizz on Christmas Morning.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Jelly, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Cube of Fruit Jelly rather than a thick and rubbery yet ever so slightly slippery Shower Jelly.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it started to release lots of thin and balmy yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, plump, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Orange for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Party Balloon Silver Reusable Bubble Bar an eight out of ten, and the Lush Crash Shower Jelly a nine point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Party Balloon Silver Reusable Bubble Bar, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fruity Lime scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but it would have been nice if it had actually produced some Silver coloured Bubbles given that it was called the Party Balloon Silver Reusable Bubble Bar. I really liked the Lush Crash Shower Jelly, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Orange scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range.

If you would like to check out any of the Lush Party Exclusives range for yourselves, then you can either pop into your local Lush store, or you can find it online here.
