I really like Lush’s range of Shower Gels and Hand Creams, as I absolutely love that they leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth and hydrated with very minimal effort. That’s why when I saw that they had released a Posh Chocolate Body Wash and a Sweet Wild Orange Hand Balm whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick them both up. Well i’ve been using them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Lush say about both delicious smelling products.
The Posh Chocolate Body Wash.
This deliciously self-centred Chocolate Body Wash is packed with Aloe Vera and Glycerine to soften and hydrate delicate Skin.
How to use.
Completely Vegan friendly, this is a great Body Wash for Dry Skin. Scoop out a good handful and inhale the rich Cocoa aroma while you work it all over your Body then rinse off.
The Sweet Wild Orange Hand Balm.
Sublimely Orange scented, refresh and cool with this hard working Hand Cream. Suitable for everyone, the Glycerine and Aloe formula will moisturise and repair the Skin.
How to use.
Dab or scoop this Hand Balm on to your Palms and rub all over to soften and hydrate, taking a moment to enjoy the uplifting Citrus scent.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Fair Trade Organic Aloe Vera Gel, Hazelnut Milk, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocoa Powder, Fragrance, Cocoa Absolute, Australian Sandalwood Oil, Vanilla Absolute, Citric Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, and Linalool, I thought that it had a delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly creamy Milk Chocolate scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bar of Milk Chocolate.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Wash, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Shower Cream rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Wash.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Shower Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Wash that spread really easily across my Body.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly creamy Milk Chocolate for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Fair Trade Organic Aloe Vera Gel, Water, Squalane, Stearic Acid, Glycerine, Sweet Wild Orange Oil, Limonene, Cetearyl Olivate & Sorbitan Olivate, Almond Oil, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Macadamia Nut Oil, Fair Trade Shea Butter, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Soya Oil, Sodium Alginate, Wheatgerm Oil, Paprika Oleoresin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Phenoxyethanol, Benzyl Alcohol, Citral, and Linalool, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you grate an Orange. ,
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Hand Balm, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and buttery yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thick and buttery yet ever so slightly oily Body Butter rather than a thick and oily yet ever so slightly waxy Hand Balm.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and buttery yet ever so slightly oily Body Butter into a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Hand Cream that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hands feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left them smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Orange for at least ten minutes after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t leave my Hands feeling oily or greasy like some of the other Hand Balms that i’ve tried in the past have done.

My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Posh Chocolate Body Wash an eight point five out of ten, and the Lush Sweet Wild Orange Hand Balm a nine out of ten. I really liked the Lush Posh Chocolate Body Wash, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly creamy Milk Chocolate scent, it’s consistency, what it did when i used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Chocolate. I really liked the Lush Sweet Wild Orange Hand Balm, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Orange scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained some other different types of Orange Oil to round it’s scent off so that it hadn’t smelt so one noted.
