I absolutely loved using the Farmologie Pink Grapefruit Moisturiser, as I really liked how incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, hydrated and intensely moisturise it left my Skin feeling. The only trouble however, was that it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Pink Grapefruit scent kind of got on my nerves after a while. That’s why when I saw that Farmologie had released a Moro Orange Moisturiser that claims to soothe and hydrate Dry and Sensitive Skin whilst I was scrolling through Superdrug’s Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Farmologie say about their Moro Orange Moisturiser.
From our mid-thirties, many Women begin to experience changes to their Skin. Age and hormonal changes cause decreasing lipid and collagen production which can lead to dryness and Skin sensitivity, as well as itchiness and redness.
The female skin experts who developed the multi award-winning Childs Farm range have now formulated a Ceramide rich Moisturiser which is dermatologist approved to lock-in moisture, and instantly soothe and hydrate dry, sensitive and ‘menopausing’ Skin which is experiencing either Peri-Menopause or Menopause.
Colloidal Beta Glucan binds moisture to the Skin, Avenanthramides from Finnish Oats reduce irritation and redness, and Oat Lipids rich in Antioxidants Vitamin E and Linoleic Acid combine with Shea Butter to form a protective barrier on the Skin to keep it hydrated.
Our uplifting fragrance includes Essential Oil from the Peel of the ruby-red Moro Orange, a sustainable by-product of the juicing industry.
All of our packaging is sustainably and responsibly sourced: our Bottles are made from 100% responsibly sourced Recycled Plastic, our Tubes from 70% responsible sourced Recycled Plastic, and our Pumps contain no Metal. This means that once the products are finished they are 100% recyclable in your curb side recycling or local Plastic collection Depot, meaning they can be used again and again.
So not only are we kind to your changing Skin, we’re kind to our Planet too!
How to use.
Squeeze a Cherry sized amount into your Palms and smooth on to Skin in a downwards direction, paying extra attention to areas with dryness. Repeat throughout the day and after washing to maintain optimum hydration.
It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Isopropyl Myristate, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Isononanoate, Shea Butter, Oat Kernel Flour, Tapioca Starch, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Cetearyl Sulfate, Limonene, Oat Kernel Oil, Fragrance, Dehydroacetic Acid, Citric Acid, Amyl Cinnamal, Linalool, Citral, Sodium Hydroxide, and Moro Orange Peel Oil, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a Bottle of freshly squeezed Orange Juice.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Moisturiser, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Cream rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Moisturiser.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Moisturiser that spread really easily across my Body.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Orange for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall conical Plastic Tube with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Farmologie Moro Orange Moisturiser a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Orange scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was also available in some other scents like Lemon, Lime, or maybe even a simple Cocoa Butter Fragrance.
