Trick Or Treat, Baby On A Night Like This | Lush Tricks Range

When I was a Child, my Family and I used to go on Holiday to quite a lot of Seaside Towns like Blackpool, Norfolk, and Scarborough, and one of my favourite things to do was to check out all of the various different Shops along the Seafront, including all of the Arcades, Gift Shops, and Joke Shops. That’s why when I had heard that Lush had released a Tricks range that claims to be inspired by all of the nostalgic Joke Shop Gifts from your youth, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Packet of Shape Shifting Slime Green Jelly Slime, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Lush say about their Shape Shifting Slime Green Jelly Slime

How to use.

Once your Bath is run, settle in and pour in the Powder. Watch as the fizzing Powder transforms to a gloopy cleansing Slime. For maximum effect, pour all of it in at once!

What’s inside counts.

The method behind the Magic? Sodium Alginate extracted from Mineral-rich Brown Seaweed will transform into Jelly when it makes contact with Water, giving you a unique, playful texture that also softens and soothes Skin.

Good to know.

Fear not House-Proud Folk (and Parents!), this playful Slime is easy to clean up. It’ll easily rinse down the Plughole, so you can enjoy the rest of your evening!

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Sodium Alginate, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Green Mandarin Oil, Rosemary Oil, Sage Oil, Cornstarch, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Tin Oxide, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Limonene, Fragrance, Colour 47005:1, Colour 42090:2, and Colour 45350, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Blackcurrant scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bottle of Blackcurrant Cough Syrup.

What it did when i used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before turning into a thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly slimy Shower Slime that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Blackcurrant for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a tall rectangular Paper Pouch that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, I found that it was incredibly hard to keep dry.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Shape Shifting Slime Green Jelly Slime an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Blackcurrant scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come in some kind of a Plastic Bottle, Tub or Tube instead of in a Paper Pouch.
