One of my favourite ever Lush ranges, especially when it came to the concept and products, definitely had to be their Mother’s Day 2020 range, as I absolutely loved how each product managed to be inspired by each member of the Spice Girls. That’s why when I had heard that they had released an x Katseye range with each member having their own inspired product, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Katseye Bath Bomb, a Block of Dual Cherry Soap, and a Block of Guardians Shield Soap, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all three delicious smelling products.

The Lush Katseye Bath Bomb.

Vibrant hues and a Summery scent.
This dazzling Soap is the Cherry on top of the Lush x Katseye collaboration. Lather up with Bubbles that have an alluring aura of Key Lime Pie. Fresh Lime Oil and sweet, comforting Vanilla-like notes leave a lasting impression.

The main notes feature fresh Lime and bright Sicilian Mandarin Oils with sweet and comforting Vanilla-like warmth.

Our proper Soap is proper lovely and made the traditional way by saponification. We mix it by Hand, adding in beautiful ingredients for their effects, pour it hot and let it cure before it takes pride of place by your Sink. This in-house Coconut Soap Base serves up a Soap that can take heavy handling, it’s firm, bubbly and perfect for Soap squidgers.
This Self-Preserving Product is formulated to stay fresh and effective without added Synthetic Preservatives listed under Annex V of the EU Cosmetic Regulations.

Use by the Sink or in the Shower and sing your favourite KATSEYE song as you wash up, then rinse clean!

How to store.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Alcohol Denat, Fragrance, Lemon Myrtle Oil, Buchu Oil, Water , Titanium Dioxide, Corn Protein, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Tin Oxide, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Citral, Colour 42090:2, Colour 42090, Colour 45410:1, Colour 45410:2, Colour 17200, Colour 47005:1, Colour 45410, Colour 15850:1, Colour 77491, and Colour 77499, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Blue Raspberry scent to it that kind of. reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you cut into a massive Slice of Blue Raspberry Cake.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright White Foam all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous bright Blue and Red all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright White Foam to turn my entire Bath a stunning Pastel Purple colour. Then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of beautiful bright Pink and Gold Lustre all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful Pastel Purple to turn my entire Bath a dazzling shimmering Lilac colour.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Blue Raspberry for hours after I had used it.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Rapeseed Oil, Coconut Oil, Glycerine, Raspberry Seed Infusion, Propylene Glycol, Water, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Lime Oil, Limonene, Sicilian Mandarin Oil, Cornstarch, Sodium Chloride, Titanium Dioxide, Citric Acid, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Sodium Hydroxide, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Sodium Bicarbonate, EDTA, Tin Oxide, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Citral, Fragrance, Colour 42090:2, and Colour 19140:1, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly malty Lime scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you pour some Lime flavoured Cream Cheese into a Pie Dish to make a Key Lime Pie.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to create an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly creamy lather that spread really easily across my Hands.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious zesty and fruity yet ever so slightly deep Orange for at least fifteen minutes after I had used it.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Rapeseed Oil, Coconut Oil, Glycerine, Raspberry Seed Infusion, Propylene Glycol, Water, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Fragrance, Clove Bud Oil, Lime Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil, Labdanum Resinoid, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Chloride, Cornstarch, Citric Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Sodium Bicarbonate, EDTA, Tin Oxide, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Alcohol, Citral, Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 42090:1, Colour 42090, Colour 77499, and Colour 17200, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and sweet yet ever so slightly zesty Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bag of Haribo Gold Bears Sweets.

What it did when I used it.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and sweet yet ever so slightly fruity Orange for at least ten minutes after I had used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Katseye Bath Bomb a nine out of ten, the Lush Dual Cherry Soap an eight out of ten, and the Lush Guardian Shield Soap an eight out of ten. I really liked the Lush Katseye Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Blue Raspberry scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Dual Cherry Soap, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly malty Lime scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Lime Oil. I really liked the Lush Guardian Shield Soap, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly zesty Orange scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Brazilian Orange Oil.
