Another Pound Worth Of Great Skincare | Poundland #6 Anti-Ageing Collagen Woven Face Mask & Anti-Ageing Collagen Hydrogel Eye Patches

I really liked using the Poundland #6 Skincare range, as even though it wasn’t the most sophisticated Skincare range in the world, I loved that everything was only £1 and that it was really easy to get hold of. That’s why when I saw that Poundland had also released an Anti-Ageing Collagen Woven Face Mask and some Anti-Ageing Collagen Hydrogel Eye Patches whilst I was in my local Poundland store a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick them both up. Well i’ve been using them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Poundland say about both amazing products.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Hlycerate-26, Corn Gluten Amino Acids, Bamboo Lily Extract, Collagen, Polyglutanic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Butylene Glycol, Golden Chamomile Leaf Extract, Bourbon Geranium Extract, Purslane Extract, Aloe Vera Leaf Extract, Sophora Angustafolia Tree Root Extract, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly floral Chamomile scent to it that kind of reminded me of the smell of some freshly washed Socks that had been caught in the Rain.

It’s size.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s size, as I had to stretch it quite a lot to get it to fit my Face, especially around the Eye, Nose and Mouth holes.

It’s material.

I really liked it’s material, as even though it had ever so slightly ripped when I had tried to remove it from it’s packaging, this was made out of a really thick Woven Tissue that felt really soft against my Skin. I also really liked that they had wrapped it in a very tough piece of Plastic, as it made it really easy to remove from it’s packaging and smooth it across my Face.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had finally removed it from it’s packaging and had smoothed it across my Face, it started to release lots of thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Serum that securely stuck the Woven piece of Tissue to my Face so that I could walk around without worrying that it was going to fall off.

It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely  hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing and radiant for at least 12 hours after I had used it. I did however notice that it left my Skin feeling a little bit on the tight side once I had removed it though, but this pretty much disappeared as soon as I had applied a little bit of Facial Oil.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a very secure Plastic Pouch that as well as keeping the Mask really fresh until I was ready to use it, also meant that none of it’s Serum leaked anywhere.

Their scent.

I really liked their scent, as even though they contained Water, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Trahalose, Hydrolysed Collagen, Irish Moss Powder, Wine Extract, Beach Rose Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin, Allantoin, PEG-40, and Hydrogenated Castor Oil, I thought that they had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Raspberry scent to them that kind of reminded me of a massive Pot of Raspberry Fromage Frais Yoghurt.

Their Size.

I really liked their size, as even though they were an Under Eye Patch, they were massive and actually managed to reach my Sideberns, which given that I have quite a wide sized Face, is quite an accomplishment.

Their material.

I absolutely loved their material, as these were made out of a very soft and bouncy hydrogel Rubber that felt really soft against my Skin and actually moulded themselves to the shape of my Under Eyes.

What they did when I used them.

I really liked what these did when I used them, as once I had removed one of them from it’s packaging and had smoothed it across my Face, it started to release lots of thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Serum that securely stuck their pieces of Hydrogel to my Under Eyes so that I could walk around without worrying that they were going to fall off.

Their results.

I absolutely loved their results, as not only did these leave my Under Eyes feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, less puffy and intensely hydrated, but they also left them looking extremely glowing, radiant, and much brighter for hours after I had used one of them.

Their packaging.

I really liked their packaging, as these came individually wrapped in little vacuum sealed Plastic packages that as well as keeping them really fresh until I was ready to use one of them, also meant that none of their Serum leaked anywhere.

Overall I would have to rate the Poundland #6 Anti-Ageing Collagen Woven Face Mask a five out of ten, and the Poundland #6 Anti-Ageing Collagen Hydrogel Eye Patches an eight point five out of ten. I really liked the Poundland #6 Anti-Ageing Collagen Woven Face Mask, as I absolutely loved what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly floral Chamomile scent, it’s size, or it’s material. I also thought that even though it only cost £1, that there are quite a lot of other Face Masks currently on the market that do a similar job for the same price. I really liked the Poundland #6 Anti-Ageing Collagen Hydrogel Eye Patches, as I absolutely loved their delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Raspberry scent, their size, their material, what they did when I used them, their results, and their packaging, but I just wish that they had been a little bit more moisturising.

I would really like to see a video of how to remove the white film as instructions state. It was impossible to remove. I gave up in the end.
