With my Skin currently going through it’s annual dry, irritated and blemish-prone phase, i’ve been on the lookout for anything that will return it to it’s silky soft, calm and blemish-free former self. That’s why when I saw that Latest In Beauty had released a The CEW Awards Box that contained a Tube of the Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream SPF 30 Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream that claims to leave you with silky soft, soothed and younger-looking Skin whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

How to use.
To be used every Morning after cleansing.
Step 1. Warm a pea-sized amount between your Palms.
Step 2. Gently smooth over your Face, Neck and Décolleté in upward strokes.
It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Isononyl Isononanoate, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Dimethicone, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Phenoxyethanol, Polyacrylate-13, Butylene Glycol, Cetyl Alcohol, Hydroxyacetophenone, Octocrylene, Stearic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, CocoCaprylate, Xanthan Gum, Chlorphenesin, Polyisobutene, Fragrance, Disodium EDTA, Lecithin, Tocopherol, Shea Butter, Citric Acid, Carrot Root Extract, Wheat Germ Oil, Microalgae Extract, Glyceryl Polyacrylate, Benzyl Benzoate, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Brown Algae Extract, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Polysorbate 20, Sorbitan Isostearate, Ginkgo Leaf Extract, Red Algae Extract, Dipropylene Glycol, Citronellol, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Lemon Peel Oil, Limonene, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, and Bitter Orange Peel Oil, I thought that it had a very strange floral and creamy yet ever so slightly medicinal Rose and Mimosa scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had blended some Rose Petals into a massive Bottle of Hospital Sanitiser Gel.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Day Cream, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Night Cream rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Gel-Cream Moisturiser.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Night Cream into a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Gel-Cream Moisturiser that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, refreshed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit younger and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short conical Plastic Tube with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream SPF 30 Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange floral and creamy yet ever so slightly medicinal Rose and Mimosa scent. I also just can’t justify spending £37 on a Day Cream, as I think that there are a lot of other Anti-Wrinkle Day Creams currently on the Market that do a similar job for a lot less money.
