Even though i’m trying to be more eco-friendly this year, one of the things that I just can’t get on board with is Solid Toothpaste, as I normally use some kind of Toothpaste that contains Fluoride. That’s why when the guys over at Reco very kindly asked me if I would like to try some of their Toothpaste Tablets with Fluoride that claims to contain the NHS recommended amount of Fluoride, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what i thought of them.

I really liked their taste, as even though they contained Sodium Fluoride, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Silica, Eugenol, Stevia, Menthol, Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate, Xanthan Gum, and Magnesium Stearate, I thought that they had a delicious fresh and crisp yet ever so slightly grassy Mint taste to them that kind of reminded me of chomping on a bunch of freshly picked Mint Leaves.
Their consistency.
I really liked their consistency, as even though they were called a Toothpaste Tablet, I thought that they felt really hard and crunchy, and were more like a hard and crunchy Tic Tac rather than a soft and crumbly yet ever so slightly gritty Toothpaste Tablet.
What they did when I used them.
I really liked what these did when I used them, as once I had bitten into one and had started to brush my Teeth, the bits of powder combined with the Water that was on my Toothbrush to create a really thick and balmy Paste that eventually turned into a very light and frothy Foam that spread really easily across my Teeth.
Their results.
I absolutely loved their results, as not only did they leave my Mouth feeling incredibly squeaky clean and my Breath smelling really fresh, but they also left my Teeth looking much brighter, whiter and healthier too.
Their packaging.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of their packaging, as even though they came in a totally recyclable, biodegradable and compostable Paper Packet, because there was no way to reseal it’s Packet once I had opened it I nearly spilt them all over my Bathroom whenever I used them.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Reco Toothpaste Tablets with Fluoride an eight out of ten. I really liked their fresh and crisp yet ever so slightly grassy Mint taste, their consistency, what they did when I used them, and their results, but it would have been nice if they had come in some sort of resealable packaging so that I didn’t nearly spill them all over my Bathroom whenever I used them.
