I absolutely loved using the Lush Cool Toothpaste Jelly, as I thought that it was a very cool and innovative way to brush your Teeth, but having to mush up or tare off a piece of Jelly every time I wanted to brush my Teeth started to get on my nerves after a while. That’s why when the guys over at Lush very kindly asked me if I would like to try a Tub of their Cool With Fluoride Toothpaste that claims to leave you with whiter and brighter looking Teeth, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Lush say about their Cool With Fluoride Toothpaste.
White, icy, and minty, with added Sodium Fluoride.
A triple dose of Peppermint, Wild Mint, and Spearmint Oils have been brought together to create a Fluoride Toothpaste that’s cleansing, refreshing, and provides long-lasting freshness. Suitable for Adults only, this formula features added Sodium Fluoride, which is known to help remineralise your Teeth’s natural Enamel, and stave off the risk of Dental Cavities and Tooth Decay.
Cool With Fluoride is gently whitening and effective at tackling stains. Independent laboratory tests show that Cool With Fluoride made Teeth 0.8 shades lighter after the equivalent of 1 week’s regular brushing.
Results based on tests measured against the VITA® Bleached Guide industry standard shades.
How to use.
Scoop out a little Toothpaste with a dry Toothbrush, wet and brush. Rinse and spit till your Mouth is clear. Use Cool With Fluoride as one part of a healthy Mouth Routine, alongside regular Flossing or Interdental Brushes. Visit your Dentist and Hygienist regularly.
How to store.
Pop the Lid back on the Pot to keep the Toothpaste fresh and clean. Recycling of Toothpaste Tubes may be improving, but our Plastic Pots are widely recyclable, and even better, they qualify for our Bring It Back scheme.
Its taste.
I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Xylitol, Water, Glycerine, Silica, Sorbitol, Fresh Mint Infusion, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Daurate, Sodium Carboxymethyl Starch, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Xanthan Gum, Calcium Carbonate, Magnesium Stearate, Peppermint Oil, Spearmint Oil, Wild Mint Oil, Stevia, Menthol Crystals, Sodium Fluoride, and Limonene, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly medicinal Spearmint taste to it that kind of reminded me of eating an entire Packet of Polo Spearmint Sweets.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Toothpaste, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Styling Paste rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Toothpaste.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had dampened my Toothbrush, had picked up a little bit of it, and had started to rub it against my Teeth, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Styling Paste into a thick and frothy yet ever so slightly creamy Toothpaste that spread really easily across my Teeth. I also really liked that it released little pieces of Menthol Crystals all over my Teeth, Gums and Tongue as I was brushing that created a really nice cooling and tingling sensation.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Teeth, Gums and Tongue feeling incredibly squeaky clean and my Breath feeling and smelling super fresh, but it also left them looking a lot whiter, brighter and tasting of delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly medicinal Spearmint for at least fifteen minutes after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Bathroom Cabinet.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Cool With Fluoride Toothpaste a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly medicinal Spearmint taste, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was available in some kind of a Tube like most of the other Toothpastes that i’ve tried in the past.
