I’m always on the lookout for great Beard Care to try, as my Beard tends to get incredibly dry and brittle, and I obviously want to keep it looking and feeling as hydrated and healthy as I possibly can. That’s why when I saw that Runesilk, a company that a lot of the people in the Guardians of the Beard Facebook Group that i’m a member of recommended that I try were having a Sale a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to check everything out. Well after browsing their website for a good half an hour, I eventually picked up a Tub of the Elements Earth Beard Balm and a Bottle of the Elements Earth Beard Oil, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Runesilk say about both delicious smelling products.
The Runesilk Elements Earth Beard Balm.
Elements Earth! It’s earthy, forresty, dirty in a good way. Grapefruit and Ho Leaf are the champions here, with Patchouli and Bergamot offering the subtile additional notes it needs to finish the scent blend.
All the goodness of our Beard Oils blended with Organic Shea Butter and Bees Wax. Purposefully made soft so you can get it out of the Tin without the need of a Pick.

The Oils inside are renowned for moisturising and fast absorbing with plenty of benefits to both Skin and Hair. Sweet Almond Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, Argan and Jojoba.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Bees Wax, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Hemp Seed Oil ,Jojoba Seed Oil, Argan Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Ho Leaf Oil, Patchouli Oil, and Bergamot Oil, I thought that it had a delicious deep and grassy yet ever so slightly zesty and woody Grapefruit scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking into a really muddy Forest after it’s just rained during Autumn.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Beard Balm, I thought that it felt incredibly rich and creamy yet ever so slightly buttery, and was more like an incredibly rich and creamy yet ever so slightly buttery Body Butter rather than a thick and balmy yet ever so slightly oily Beard Balm.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had scooped some of it out of it’s Tin and had started to massage it into my Beard, it turned from an incredibly rich and creamy yet ever so slightly buttery Body Butter into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Beard Balm that spread really easily through my Beard.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Beard feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, thicker, fuller and intensely moisturised, but it also kept it in place all day and left it smelling of delicious deep and grassy yet ever so slightly zesty and woody Grapefruit for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short and wide cylindrical Metal Tin with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Beard and the Skin underneath and around it feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking a lot shinier, much healthier and smelling of delicious deep and grassy yet ever so slightly zesty and woody Grapefruit for hours after I had used it.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Runesilk Elements Earth Beard Balm a ten out of ten, and the Runesilk Elements Earth Beard Oil a ten out of ten. I really liked the Runesilk Elements Earth Beard Balm, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and grassy yet ever so slightly zesty and woody Grapefruit scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had come in a bigger Tin.
