Even though I don’t really like Winter because of all of the cold Weather and that it gets dark at about 4PM, one of the things that I do actually like definitely has to be the deep and smokey smell of a roaring Log Fire. That’s why when I had heard that Runesilk had released an Elements Fire Beard Balm and an Elements Fire Beard Oil that claims to smell like a Log Fire, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and pick them both up. Well i’ve been using them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

The Runesilk Elements Fire Beard Balm.
Elements Fire! The final Element in our series. It’s sweet, smokey, spicy, woody. Think Log Fire, Log Cabin, but with a sweetness that takes the edge off of all that burnt Wood. Our most complex blend of Cinnamon, Juniper Berry, Vetiver, Pettigrain and Lavender.
All the goodness of our Beard Oils, plus Sea Buckthorn Oil, blended with Organic Shea Butter and Bees Wax. Purposefully made soft so you can get it out the Tin without the need of a Pick.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Bees Wax, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Argan Oil, Sea Buckthorn Oil, Cinnamon Oil, Juniper Oil, Vetiver Oil, Pettigrain Oil, and Lavender Oil, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly woody Cinnamon scent to it that kind of reminded me of being sat by a roaring Log Fire whilst burning some kind of Cinnamon scented Candle on a freezing cold Winter’s Day.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Beard Balm, I thought that it felt incredibly rich and buttery yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly rich and buttery yet ever so slightly creamy Body Butter rather than a thick and balmy yet ever so slightly oily Beard Balm.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had scooped some of it out of it’s Tin and had started to massage a little bit of it into my Beard, it turned from an incredibly thick and buttery yet ever so slightly creamy Body Butter into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Beard Balm that spread really easily through my Beard. . I did however notice that it felt a little bit gritty when I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Beard though, but that totally disappeared within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Beard feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, thicker, fuller and intensely moisturised, but it also kept it in place all day and left it smelling of delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly woody Cinnamon for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short and wide cylindrical Metal Tin with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Beard and the Skin underneath and around it feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking a lot shinier, much healthier and smelling of delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly woody Cinnamon for hours after I had used it.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Runesilk Elements Fire Beard Balm a nine point five out of ten, and the Runesilk Elements Fire Beard Oil a nine point five out of ten. I really liked the Runesilk Elements Fire Beard Balm, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly woody Cinnamon sent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but as i’m not usually a massive fan of Cinnamon it’s not something that I could use every day. I really liked the Runesilk Elements Fire Beard Oil, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly woody Cinnamon scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but as i’m not usually a massive fan of Cinnamon it’s not something that I could use every day.
