I’m always on the lookout for any Beard products that smell clean and fresh instead of smelling earthy or woody, but they’re strangely becoming increasingly difficult to find. That’s why when I picked up the Runesilk Elements Earth Beard Balm & Beard Oil a couple of weeks ago, I also managed to pick up a Tub of their Elements Water Beard Balm and a Bottle of their Elements Water Beard Oil too. Well i’ve been using them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Runesilk say about both delicious smelling products.
The Runesilk Elements Water Beard Balm.
Elements Water! If you’re looking for a clean scent, one that isn’t woody, earthy, etc, then Water is what you’ve needed in your life all this time. A delicate blend of Lemon, Bergamot, Sandalwood and Cucumber. It’s almost as if Sherbet Lemons and Palma Violets got it on.
All the goodness of our Beard Oils, plus Sea Buckthorn Oil, blended with Organic Shea Butter and Bees Wax. Purposefully made soft so you can get it out the Tin without the need of a Pick.
The colour of a Free Range Organic Egg Yolk and the softness of a light Fudge.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Bees Wax, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Argan Oil, Sea Buckthorn Oil, Lemon Oil, Bergamot Oil, Sandalwood Oil, and Cucumber Oil, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly oceanic Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of Swimming in the Sea on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Beard Balm, I thought that it felt incredibly rich and buttery yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly rich and buttery yet ever so slightly creamy Body Butter rather than a thick and balmy yet ever so slightly oily Beard Balm.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had scooped some of it out of it’s Tin and had started to massage a little bit of it into my Beard, it turned from an incredibly thick and buttery yet ever so slightly creamy Body Butter into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Beard Balm that spread really easily through my Beard. . I did however notice that it felt a little bit gritty when I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Beard though, but that totally disappeared within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Beard feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, thicker, fuller and intensely moisturised, but it also kept it in place all day and left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly oceanic Lemon for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short and wide cylindrical Metal Tin with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Beard, it turned from an incredibly thin and oily Hair Serum into a thin and oily Beard Oil that spread really easily through my Beard.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Beard and the Skin underneath and around it feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking a lot shinier, much healthier and smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly oceanic Lemon for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Runesilk Elements Water Beard Balm a ten out of ten, and the Runesilk Elements Water Beard Oil a ten out of ten. I really liked the Runesilk Elements Water Beard Balm, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly oceanic Lemon scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had come in a much bigger Tin. I really liked the Runesilk Elements Water Beard Oil, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly oceanic Lemon scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had come in a much bigger Bottle.
