Back in the day, Lush used to have Anchor Store Exclusive Products like the Nae Stressy Bath Bomb, the Oxford Street Soap, and the Yellow Submarine Bath Bomb to make travelling all that way a magical experience. Unfortunately though, for some strange reason they’ve sadly stopped doing it. That’s why when I had heard that Lush Glasgow City had released an Exclusive Hats Aff Bath Bomb to celebrate the tradition of placing a Traffic Cone on the Head of the Duke of Wellington Statue in Royal Exchange Square, I obviously had to get my Hands on one somehow. That’s why when a really nice person from one of the Lush Facebook Groups that i’m a member of very kindly asked me if I would like them to send me one, I of course said yes. Well I finally used it the other Night, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A Love Letter to a City that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
The name is a nod to the Glaswegian Tradition surrounding the Duke of Wellington Statue in Royal Exchange Square. For decades, locals have crowned the Jockey with an Orange Traffic Cone, a tradition so fiercely protected that when the Council moved to put a stop to it in 2005, over 10,000 Glaswegians signed a Petition to keep it firmly in place, and the Cone stayed.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Organic Sweet Orange Oil, Tangerine Oil, Clove Bud Oil, Ginger Oil, Cornstarch, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Dipropylene Glycol, Sodium Coco-Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Tin Oxide, Citronellol, Citral, Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, CI 15510, CI 15985:1, and CI 19140, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy and spicy Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Iron Bru on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful Bright White Foam all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous Bright Orange all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful Bright White Foam to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering Neon Orange colour.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy and spicy Orange for hours after I had used it.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Hats Aff Bath Bomb a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy and spicy Orange scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy and spicy Orange scent was also available in some other products, like a Body Scrub, a Body Spray, or maybe even a Shower Gel.
