Making It Real Together This Christmas | The Body Shop Christmas 2020 Range

One of the Christmas ranges that I always look forward to checking out, definitely has to be the one from The Body Shop, as I always love seeing whether or not they’ve released the same scents as last year or if they’ve released some totally brand new scents. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their Christmas 2020 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local The Body Shop store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Bottle of the Festive Berry Shower Gel, a Tub of the Warm Vanilla Body Yoghurt, and a Tube of the Winter Jasmine Hand Cream, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what The Body Shop say about all three delicious smelling products.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerin, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Chloride, Peg-7, Glyceryl Cocoate, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Peg-40, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Limonene, Cranberry Seed Oil, Peg-180, Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Benzophenone-3, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Hydroxide, CI 17200, CI 15985, and CI 42090, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fruity Cranberry scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured an entire Jar of Cranberry Sauce into a massive Jug of freshly squeezed Orange Juice.

Its consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt really thin and watery, and was more like a really thin and watery Micellar Water rather than a thick and balmy Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from a really thin and watery Micellar Water into a thick and frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fruity Cranberry for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

A short rounded rectangular clear plastic tub full of some creamy white liquid with a dark green lid that has The Body Shop Warm Vanilla Body Yoghurt written in dark green writing and some pictures of some dark brown vanilla pods on it, on a white background.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Alcohol Denate, Dimethicone, Butylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Carbomer, Glycerol Stearate, Peg-100 Stearate, Shea Butter, Dimethiconol, Fragrance, Caprylel Glycol, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Benzyl Salicylate, Coumarin, Benzyl Alcohol, Linalool, Vanilla Fruit Extract, Sweet Almond Seed Extract, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Caramel, and CI 15885, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly nutty Vanilla scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you pour some drops of Vanilla Extract into a Bowl of Cake Mixture when you’re baking a Cake.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Yoghurt, I thought that it felt extremely thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an extremely thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Lotion rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Body Yoghurt.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an extremely thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Lotion into an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Body Yoghurt that set within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly nutty Vanilla for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short rounded rectangular Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

A small thin conical silver plastic tube with a dark green lid that has The Body Shop Winter Jasmine Hand Cream written in dark green writing and a picture of some large bright green Jasmine leaves on it, on a white background.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetyl Alcohol, Sweet Almond Oil, Shea Butter, Sodium Polyacrylate, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Pentaerythrityl Distearate, Caprylyl Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Soybean Oil, Babassu Seed Oil, Myristamidopropyl PGDimonium Chloride Phosphate, Xanthan Gum, Benzyl Salicylate, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Benzyl Alcohol, Linalool, Jasmine Flower Extract, Eugenol, Citric Acid, Benzoic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, CI 19140, and CI 42090, I thought that it had a very overpowering fresh and floral yet ever so slightly soapy Jasmine scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent of some really cheap own Brand Jasmine Washing Up Liquid.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Hand Cream, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy ,and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Cream rather than a thin and creamy Hand Cream.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Hand Cream that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of very overpowering fresh and floral yet ever so slightly soapy Jasmine for at least ten minutes after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a small and thin Plastic Tube with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate The Body Shop Festive Berry Shower Gel a nine out of ten, The Body Shop Warm Vanilla Body Yoghurt an eight out of ten, and The Body Shop Winter Jasmine Hand Cream a five out of ten. I really liked The Body Shop Festive Berry Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fruity Cranberry scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked The Body Shop Warm Vanilla Body Yoghurt, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly nutty Vanilla scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but as i’m not usually a massive fan of anything that smells of Vanilla, it unfortunately wasn’t something that I could use every day. I really liked The Body Shop Winter Jasmine Hand Cream, as I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very overpowering fresh and floral yet ever so slightly soapy Jasmine scent.
