I absolutely love anything that smells of Cucumber, especially during the Summer as I really like how incredibly fresh and fruity it smells. That’s why when I had heard that The Body Shop had released a Cool Cucumber range, I obviously had to pop down to my local The Body Shop store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Bottle of the Cool Cucumber Shower Gel, a Tub of the Cool Cucumber Body Yoghurt, a Tub of the Cool Cucumber Body Butter, and a Tube of the Cool Cucumber Hand Cream, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycerin, Fragrance, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Sodium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Citric Acid, Menthol, Cucumber Fruit Extract, Sucrose, Linalool, Benzophenone-3, Disodium EDTA, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Hydroxide, Denatonium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, CI 19140/Yellow 5, and CI 42090/Blue 1, I thought that it had a very subtile fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly minty Cucumber scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you make yourself a nice Glass of Gin & Tonic with a Cucumber Garnish.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt really thin and watery, and was more like a really thin and watery Micellar Water rather than a thick and balmy Shower Gel.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from a really thin and watery Micellar Water into a thick and frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of very subtile fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly minty Cucumber for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
