One of my favourite The Body Shop ranges, especially when it comes to their Fragrances, definitely has to be their Choices Fragrance Collection, as I think that there’s a Fragrance to suit every taste, gender and mood. Unfortunately though, they haven’t really added any new Fragrances to the collection since it was launched back in 2022. That’s why when I had heard that they had added a Tempting Tonka range to the collection that includes a Body Cream, a Fragrance Mist, and an Eau De Toilette, I obviously had to pop down to my local The Body Shop store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Bottle of Tender Tonka Eau De Toilette, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what The Body Shop say about their Tender Tonka Eau De Toilette.
Wrap yourself in warmth, with Tender Tonka.
A sensual, spiced Fragrance with notes of Tonka Bean, Suede and Vanilla Orchid at its heart.
Tender Tonka is a modern, spiced Fragrance that wraps you in sensual warmth.
A little mysterious yet seriously comforting, it opens with peppery Wild Hawthorn and Incense, before melting into Vanilla Orchid and resinous Rock Rose. The dry-down reveals creamy Tonka, smooth Suede and woody Cedar, creating a fragrance with presence and depth.
- Eau de Toilette for everyday elegance.
- Warm, spicy and softly sweet.
- Notes of Pepper, Vanilla Orchid, Tonka and Suede.
- A characterful scent that lingers.
It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Alcohol Denat, Water, Fragrance, Coumarin, Tetramethyl Acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, Vanillin, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Acetyl Cedrene, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Eastern Red Cedar Oil, Benzaldehyde, Beta-Caryophyllene, Atlas Cedar Oil/Extract, Pinene, Benzyl Benzoate, Isoeugenyl Acetate, Limonene, Denatonium Benzoate, and BHT, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and powdery yet ever so slightly spicy Tonka Bean scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you crush up some Tonka Beans.
It’s longevity.
I really liked how long this lasted on my Skin, as I sprayed a little bit of it on to my Wrists and Neck when I was getting ready at about eight o’clock in the Morning, and I could still strongly smell it on my Skin when I sat down to have a Cup of Tea at about three thirty in the Afternoon.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall rectangular Glass Perfume Bottle with an Aluminium Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate The Body Shop Tempting Tonka Eau De Toilette an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and powdery yet ever so slightly spicy Tonka Bean scent, it’s longevity, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained a little bit more Incense or Cedar to round off the Vanilla Orchid so that it hadn’t smelt so sweet.
