The Scent Of Tea Tree Is So Purifying | The Body Shop Tea Tree Purifying & Balancing Haircare Range

I try not to use that many clarifying products in my Hair, as even though I sometimes suffer with an itchy Scalp, it can usually make it worse. But after trying and loving the Garnier Ultimate Blends Balancing Charcoal & Black Seed Oil range I thought that it was about time that I tried more Balancing Haircare ranges. That’s why when I saw that The Body Shop had released a Tea Tree Purifying & Balancing Haircare range that claims to leave you with silky soft, cleansed and balanced Hair whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pop in and check everything out. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Tub of the Tea Tree Purifying & Balancing Hair & Scalp Scrub, a Bottle of the Tea Tree Purifying & Balancing Shampoo, and a Bottle of the Tea Tree Purifying & Balancing Conditioner, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Chloride, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Water, Butylene Glycol, Octyldodecanol, GlycerylStearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Glycerin, Tea Tree Leaf Oil, Caprylyl Glycol,Phenoxyethanol, Menthol, Citric Acid, Limonene, sr-Spider Polypeptide-1, 1,2-Hexanediol, CI 19140/Yellow 5, and CI 42090/Blue 1, I thought that it had a delicious deep and medicinal yet ever so slightly grassy Tea Tree scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bottle of Tea Tree Essential Oil.

It’s consistency.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Hair & Scalp Scrub, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous Styling Gel that had been topped with a layer of Salt Crystals rather than a thick and gritty yet ever so slightly gelatinous Hair & Scalp Scrub.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had scooped a little bit of it out of it’s Tub, had mixed it together with a little bit of Water, and had started to massage it into my Scalp, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous Styling Gel that had been topped with a layer of Salt Crystals into a thin and frothy yet ever so slightly gritty Hair & Scalp Scrub that spread really easily through my Hair. I also really liked that it ever so slightly started to tingle whenever I left it on my Scalp for a couple of minutes, as the tingling sensation made me feel like it was really doing it’s job.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hair and Scalp feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, soothed, refreshed, balanced, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left my Hair looking extremely volumised, a lot shinier and much healthier for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shampoo, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Shower Gel rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shampoo.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Hair, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Shower Gel into a thin and frothy yet ever so slightly creamy Shampoo that spread really easily through my Hair. I also really liked that it ever so slightly started to tingle whenever I left it in my Hair for a couple of minutes, as the tingling sensation made me feel like it was really doing it’s job.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetrimonium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Tea Tree Leaf Oil, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Panthenol, Lecithin, Propanediol, Aloe Vera Leaf JuicePowder, Menthol, sr-Spider Polypeptide-1, Limonene, 1,2-Hexanediol, and Caprylyl Glycol, I thought that it had a delicious deep and medicinal yet ever so slightly grassy Tea Tree scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bottle of Tea Tree Essential Oil.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Conditioner, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Cleansing Milk rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Conditioner.

My overall thoughts.

overall I would have to rate The Body Shop Tea Tree Purifying & Balancing Hair & Scalp Scrub a seven point five out of ten, The Body Shop Tea Tree Purifying & Balancing Shampoo an eight point five out of ten, and The Body Shop Tea Tree Purifying & Balancing Conditioner a nine out of ten. I really liked The Body Shop Tea Tree Purifying & Balancing Hair & Scalp Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and medicinal yet ever so slightly grassy Tea Tree scent, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of the fact that I had to essentially mix it together and turn it into a Hair & Scalp Scrub myself. I really liked The Body Shop Tea Tree Purifying & Balancing Shampoo, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and medicinal yet ever so slightly grassy Tea Tree scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had tingled a little bit more when I used it. I really liked The Body Shop Tea Tree Purifying & Balancing Conditioner, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and medicinal yet ever so slightly grassy Tea Tree scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was available in a much bigger Bottle, as like most people I end up using a lot more Conditioner than I do Shampoo.
