The Zesty Smell Of Summer | The Body Shop Zesty Lemon Range

I absolutely love a Lemon scented Body Care range, but like i’ve said before, it’s extremely hard for me to find one that I actually like as they either end up smelling far to sweet and synthetic or really subtile and creamy. That’s why when I had heard that The Body Shop had released a Zesty Lemon range, I obviously had to pop down to my local The Body Shop store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Bottle of the Zesty Lemon Shower Gel, a Tub of the Zesty Lemon Body Scrub, and a Tub of the Zesty Lemon Body Yoghurt, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what The Body Shop say about all three delicious smelling products.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycerin, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Sodium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Fragrance, Limonene, Citric Acid, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Citral, Sucrose, Benzophenone-3, Disodium EDTA, Linalool, Lemon Fruit Extract, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Hydroxide, Denatonium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, CI 19140/Yellow 5, and CI 15985/Yellow 6, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sour Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you chop a Lemon.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt really thin and watery, and was more like a really thin and watery Micellar Water rather than a thick and balmy Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from a really thin and watery Micellar Water into a thick and frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sour Lemon for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Scrub, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous Body Gel with little pieces of grit in it rather than a harsh and gritty yet ever so slightly balmy Body Scrub.

Overall I would have to rate The Body Shop Zesty Lemon Shower Gel a nine out of ten, The Body Shop Zesty Lemon Body Scrub a nine out of ten, and The Body Shop Zesty Lemon Body Yoghurt a nine out of ten.
