It’s Going To Blossom Into A Delicious Smelling Summer This Year | The Body Shop Zesty Lime Blossom Range

One of my favourite things about Summer, especially when it comes to The Body Shop, definitely has to be the release of their Summer Body Care ranges, as it usually means that we get to see something fresh, zesty and maybe even fruity rather than the traditional sweet, floral and musky ranges that they sell all year round. That’s why when I had heard that they had released a Zesty Lime Blossom range that claims to contain a blend of Lime Extract and Aloe Vera Extract to leave you with silky soft, hydrated and delicious smelling Skin, I obviously had to pop down to my local The Body Shop store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Bottle of the Zesty Lime Blossom Shower Gel, a Tub of the Zesty Lime Blossom Water-Gel Body Yoghurt, and a Bottle of the Zesty Lime Blossom Hydrating Face & Body Mist, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what The Body Shop say about all three delicious smelling products.

The Body Shop Zesty Lime Blossom Shower Gel.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerin, Decyl Glucoside, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, CocoBetaine, Sodium Chloride, Fragrance, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Limonene, Sodium Gluconate, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice Powder, Lime Fruit Extract, Citral, Linalool, Denatonium Benzoate, CI 19140/Yellow 5, and CI 42090/Blue 1, I thought that it had a delicious zesty and grassy yet ever so slightly fruity Lime Blossom scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you pick a perfectly ripened Lime off of a Lime Tree.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Gel Body Lotion rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Body Gel into a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious zesty and grassy yet ever so slightly fruity Lime Blossom for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Yoghurt, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Gel-Cream Moisturiser rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Yoghurt.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Gel-Cream Moisturiser into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Yoghurt that sank into my Skin with a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Butylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Glycerin, Phenoxyethanol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Sodium Benzoate, Fragrance, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Gluconate, Limonene, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice Powder, Citric Acid, Lime Fruit Extract, Citral, Linalool, and Coumarin, I thought that it had a delicious zesty and grassy yet ever so slightly fruity Lime Blossom scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you pick a perfectly ripened Lime off of a Lime Tree.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had pressed down it’s Spray Pump, it started to release a very fine Mist of incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Mist all over my Face that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s longevity.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of how long this lasted on my Skin ,as I sprayed a little bit of it on to my Wrists, Neck and Clothes when I was getting ready at about eight o’clock in the morning, and unfortunately by about eleven o’clock in the morning it had totally vanished from my Skin.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, refreshed, plump and intensely hydrated ,but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit brighter, much healthier and smelling of delicious zesty and grassy yet ever so slightly fruity Lime Blossom for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Glass Bottle with a metallic Spray Pump Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

Overall I would have to rate The Body Shop Zesty Lime Blossom Shower Gel a nine out of ten, The Body Shop Zesty Lime Blossom Water-Gel Body Yoghurt an eight point five out of ten, and The Body Shop Zesty Lime Blossom Hydrating Face & Body Mist an eight out of ten. I really liked The Body Shop Zesty Lime Blossom Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious zesty and grassy yet ever so slightly fruity Lime Blossom scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range.
