The Best Smelling Afternoon Tea In Yorkshire | The Yorkshire Soap Company Afternoon Tea Glass Candle

As you probably already know, I absolutely adore Candles, and also love a nice Afternoon Tea. That’s why when I saw that The Yorkshire Soap Company had released an Afternoon Tea Glass Candle that claims to smell just like you’re having an Afternoon Tea full of Sandwiches, Scones and Black Tea whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been burning it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A tall bright white cardboard tube that has The Yorkshire Soap Company Afternoon Tea Glass Candle written in bright white writing inside a dark blue oval, a picture of a black crown, and some pictures of some bright white leaves on it, on a white background.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained 100% Soy Wax, Fragrance, Isoeugenol, 1-(1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-Otahy-Dro-2,3,8,8-Tetramethyl-2-Naphthalenyl, ethanone, Coumarin, and Hexyl Cinnamal, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly musky Strawberry and Black Tea scent to it that kind of reminded me of eating a Scone smothered in some Strawberry Jam and Clotted Cream whilst drinking a massive Mug of Black Tea on a balmy Spring Afternoon.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill my Room and the entire top floor of my House with it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly musky Strawberry and Black Tea scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 50 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wick trimmed, I easily got at least 60 hours of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly musky Strawberry and Black Tea scent out of it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this cane in a short cylindrical Glass Jar with a Metallic Tin Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Candle Shelf. I also really liked that it came inside a really thick Cardboard Tube with a design of one of their Stores on it that I thought looked really professional and would be perfect to give to someone as a Gift.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate The Yorkshire Soap Company Afternoon Tea Glass Candle a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly musky Strawberry and Black Tea scent, it’s scent throw, it’s burn time, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I also wish that it was available in some other products, like a Bath Bomb, a Body Lotion, or maybe even a Room Mist.
