Even though I know they’re a little bit controversial, I love that everywhere seems to be releasing some kind of Soap Sponge lately, as with them usually having a softer and a rougher side, I don’t have to worry about taking a Sponge, a Bottle of Shower Gel, and a Body Scrub into the Bath or Shower with me. That’s why when I saw that The Yorkshire Soap Company had released a Soap Sponge range that includes twelve delicious scents like Coconut Cream, Eaton Mess, Gladiator, Northern Lights, and Sugared Violet that are also infused with a blend of Mango, Shea and Cocoa Butter whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pop in and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Cherry Noir Soap Sponge, and a Yorkshire Rhubarb Soap Sponge, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what The Yorkshire Soap Company say about both delicious smelling products.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Sorbitol, Sodium Stearate, Sodium Laurate, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Oleate, Sodium Myristate, Sodium Chloride, Glyceryl Laurate, Cocoamidopropyl Betaine, Cocoa Seed Butter, Shea Butter, Mango Seed Butter, Sodium Thiosulfate, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium Iminodisuccinate, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Fragrance, Eugenol, Isoeugenol, Isoeugenyl Acetate, CI 77891, CI 17200, and CI 42090, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and nutty yet ever so slightly fruity Cherry Bakewell scent to it that kind of reminded me of eating a Cherry Bakewell that’s been drizzled in some Cherry Preserve on a balmy Spring Afternoon.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to release lots of incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body. I also really liked that because it had a harder and rougher side as well as a softer side, that I could give my Skin a decent amount of exfoliation whilst I was massaging it into my Skin.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, refreshed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and nutty yet ever so slightly fruity Cherry Bakewell for hours after i had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came wrapped in a really thin and secure piece of Plastic that kept the Sponge really fresh until I was ready to start using it..

My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate The Yorkshire Soap Company Cherry Noir Soap Sponge a nine out of ten, and The Yorkshire Soap Company Yorkshire Rhubarb Soap Sponge an eight point five out of ten. I really liked The Yorkshire Soap Company Cherry Noir Soap Sponge, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and nutty yet ever so slightly fruity Cherry Bakewell scent, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it’s delicious sweet and nutty yet ever so slightly fruity Cherry Bakewell scent was also available in some other products, like a Body Mist, a Body Scrub, or maybe even a Whipped Soap. I really liked The Yorkshire Soap Company Yorkshire Rhubarb Soap Sponge, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Rhubarb scent, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Rhubarb, and that it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Rhubarb scent was also available in some other products, like a Body Scrub, a Candle, or maybe even a Shower Gel.
