Like most people during the Pandemic i’ve become extremely diligent at washing my Hands, both at Home with Soap and Water and when i’m out and about by using some kind of Hand Sanitiser. The trouble however is that i’m not a massive fan of most Hand Sanitisers as they tend to smell incredibly sour and alcoholic. This means that i’m always on the look out for any that claim to smell like some kind of Cocktail, as it generally masks their incredibly overpowering alcoholic scent. That’s why when I saw that The Yorkshire Soap Company had released a Summer Sangria Alcohol Hand Gel that claims to contain 70% Alcohol to kill 99.9% of Germs whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what The Yorkshire Soap Company say about their Summer Sangria Alcohol Hand Gel.
Turn up the heat and give your Hands a holiday with our Summer Sangria scented Alcohol Hand Gel, designed to keep your hard working Hands clean and feeling protected. It’s handmade with our powerful 70% Alcohol formula that kills 99.9% of Germs and is also blended with a zesty Sangria fragrance.
Fabulous notes of Blood Orange and Red Wine are combined with warming spices and zesty Summer Fruits to leave you in a summery mood and touched with Sunshine.
It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Denatured Alcohol, Water, Isopropyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Carbomer, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Sangria scent to it that kind of reminded me of being sat by the Pool drinking a massive Glass of Sangria on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an Alcohol Hand Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Hand Wash rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Alcohol Hand Gel.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Hand Wash into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Alcohol Hand Gel that spread really easily across my Hands.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hands feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left them smelling of delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Sangria for at least ten minutes after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a Pump Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate The Yorkshire Soap Company Summer Sangria Alcohol Hand Gel a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Sangria scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was also available in a 50ml Bottle so that I could carry it around with me, and that it was also available in some of their other Signature Scents like Cherry Bakewell, Invigorate, or Mandarella.
